What's new

More & more Chinese travel to Japan, just buy buy buy ! Shoping can't stop ...

....
Basically he made the youtube video's to make sure foreigners dont make the same mistake as he did with regard to visa, job, etc. If you check his video's, he has so much golden tips for each China situation.
I like that kind of guy.

After watching some of his videos I can see he is basically a man without a country hoping China is the solution. Seeing China is different (in a good way) than what he expected he tries to make a new good life there.

Unfortunately for him while the cities have modernized some of the people are still falling back on bad moral/ethical faults found in far less developed countries ( @LeveragedBuyout ) To make matters worse the average citizen doesn't speak up to stop this. This probably is contributing to the melancholy tone he has in his videos.

Here he is as a one man vigilante (in a public shopping area?) trying to stop a scam and nobody around him cares. I bet even in South Africa this wouldn't be tolerated.

Look at the bright side. This is a huge upgrade from the "bleeding, amputated limbs" beggar type that I used to see in the '90s.

I'd like to laugh at what seems like an obvious exaggeration by you but my wife has previously described the exact same thing to me. What's more horrible is some were stolen kids and those disfigurements were intentional.

Yes, you are totally right, I understand the differences. The industrial grade printers are very good and also very expensive. The thing is, I have to scan and print so many items that eventually I'm going to need my own set up and it needs to be cost effective. For the statues that I need to print, the Guangzhou printers are fine in terms of quality, but before I buy a set up there, I'll probably print a few items at the place in Shenzhen.

Thank you for all the good info man. Very much appreciated.:tup::tup: Whichever set up it is, China has a solution for me. :partay:
U r welcome ! 'Made in China' always has solutions to solve the issue, Magic of China ... :-)

LOL ... just curious, How many years did ur Chinese wife leave China to U.S ? Did she spend >3x month each year return China ? If not, sorry bro her experience about China is outdated, not firsthand information, just still living in the old time when she left poor China. :coffee:

After 2000. But unfortunately the issues we are discussing can't be blamed 100% on poverty. While your country's wealth and standard of living has improved the mindset is still stuck in the old ways.

For instance many Pakistanis on this site complain about corruption and how "nothing changes". You can blame it on poverty. But what happens when a country gets richer and modernizes...is the corruption gone...no it remains. Does the average person step forward to complain...no...they keep walking...as they are so used to it they take it as normal.

Edit:
I think the guy in the video sees this and it frustrates him. Notice he chases away the flower scammers not from himself but from other people. He ends by saying something like "of course they will be back when I leave..but at least I saved some OTHER people from being scammed"

While the West may be known for a "me first and I don't care about everybody else" mentality vs the "common/team good"...in reality this can be the opposite if you look more closely and vice versa.

In China we called such issue is the 'Population Quality', as a developing country the 'Population Quality' need more time to improve at least 30~60 years, slower than wealth accumulation. It's some kind of thought evolution ... need time, and i think today China is much better than 2000 year before, espiecially young ppl born in during 1980s~2000s have better quality than the olders.

Why the young looks better than the older ? Compared with 1950s~1970s poor China, today rich China can offer better education and living conditions to the young ppl, but our parents and grand-parents missed it during the poor time. How today rich China and the huge wealth come from ? During 1950s~1970s China sacrificed the whole 2x generation Chinese ppl to build today achievements, the poor China lack enough education and worse living conditions. That easily lead to lower 'Population Quality', but without their hard working there's no today China !

Now I don't blame any Chinese rude, such problem soon will changed by 3rd and 4th generation Chinese folks.

Being rude is fine. It shows you're alpha, not beta because you don't give a shit what others think. that is alpha. You do what you want not like those HK sissies.

I have heard certain areas of Hollywood are seedy...plus they have transvestites...you should ask if the person is a woman first.
Who cares if they are woman. He was trying to sell me cds/dvds.

Interesting, many friends of mine had been to JP .They love Japanese culture and Japanese anime very much. But when talk about politics、Japanese government、Territorial disputes and so on... oh i think japanese friends won't like to listen it
