Have you read anything this retired US military colonel has spewed on his twitter page? It shows that the US openly considers Pakistan an enemy of equal significance as they see Iran. I'm sure they have been chalking out a plan to disarm Pakistan for decades in order to please the Jewish lobby and move forward with their evil Greater Pisrael agenda.
Thankfully the current military and civil establishment of Pakistan is not going to behave like a stooge in front of the American Hegemonic design, which is what concerns the Trump administration the most.

Don’t underestimate the American interest in Baluchistan. If you are aware of US intellectual opinion on Baluchistan you should already know that the US regards this to be a very strategic and valuable place. They did. During the Obama tenure, the US government openly declared that the US military reserves the right to target terrorist outlets in Pakistan. It was obviously an excuse to convince their European allies to join them in an all-out invasion of Pakistan and eventually disarm the country.
However, Prime Minister Gilani immediately arranged an official visit to China and THIS is what happened.

Its not just about Muslim country, America won't let Russia , China or even India thrive so they won't get strong enough to challenge their Super Power Title .. this is how every Super Power works in Past , present and future .

right now America is pretty much stuck in Afghanistan, its one war they are unable to let go because it becomes a matter of their ego, they leave without a deal it will be seen as their defeat , if they stay they will keep fighting , losing soldiers and money over a lost cause . So for now they want Pakistan to solve this issue how they want it . That is why for them Pakistan is a unwanted ally they are forced to keep .

Trump is big mouth, from the day he took office he didn't even fulfill his promises to American people let alone his threats to Pakistan and Turkey . he has wall to build , drain the swamp , tackle Iran and NK and a Trade war with China . Pakistan is least of his concern .

Look If an we all put our petty difference aside, Muslim world can build stronger ties with China , but again right now America is sitting all over ME , they wont let these tiny but wealthy nation slide under China aka Communists . Its not just battle of title its battle of Ideologies as well .

Right now our focus should be prospering our own country, make sure world see the real face of India and their support to the Terrorism in Pakistan, which leads to the death of 80k people and billions of dollars in economy .

Some part of me wants Taliban to just deal with them in their own way and for Pakistan to stay out of the way.
