Although I do not share the OP's pessimism of China's strategic options and I am against a US-style alliance build-up, I am in favor of building a loose East Asian union under China's leadership around a set of economic and security institutions.

in his first post, he said Mongolia should REJOIN China. That mean he implies that Mongolia should COMEBACK to china, that can only mean one thing, thats for Mongol to be part of China again.

If China start an Asian Union then he would have said partner or cooperation, but the term rejoin means a physical join, not forming a partnership or Union.

Even tho if China indeed start a n Asian Union of sort, what could China and other offer to the table that was not already done?

You can only form an Union with a common goal or common enemy, care ro explain what is the common goal and common enemy that said union is build for? China is a lot different than any other Asian country, be that race, religion, culture and An Union have to be bond over something, but right now i dont see any commonality share by China and fellow Asian country, except they all being in Asia...

In my opinion, China has two main priorities.

Number one, China must annex Southeast Asia for several reasons:

1. Agricultural land.
2. Fresh water.
3. A coastline on the Indian Ocean.
4. Control of the Strait of Malacca.

Keep in mind, I'm not talking about an invasion of Indonesia or any other island. I'm talking about the annexation of the areas of Southeast Asia that are land-connected to China. The PLA can take these areas easy.

Number two, China should annex Central Asia for the oil, natural gas, and uranium. Central Asia is landlocked. The PLA can't lose here.

Forget about democracy. Democracy means haggling and negotiations that may drag on for decades. Take these regions by force when the time is right.

Does China have the ability to wage a massive ground war across Asia? The answer is yes. China has built the largest auto industry in the history of the world producing over 22 million vehicles a year. This is a transportation system that can deliver tens of millions of troops and maintain supply lines across Asia.

I think you inverted the order. First, you must successfully conquer the countries, before, second you can annex them. not vice versa. and if you allow, I want to add into your list, why China needs to expand territory:
