BD was probably the richest area on the planet and one of the most technologically advanced when the US was still a British colony in the middle of the 18th century.

They are ignorant usurpers of red Indian land and they should know that BD does not align with anyone. Time they took out a history book and read up on the Mughal Empire and how Bengal was its heart.

It’s ambition is to become an independent sized power by the middle of this century and cares nothing for joining any blocks.

US can hold its hand out for friendship with BD and that will be returned. It should not think that BD has any interest in any subservient relationship with it.

BD welcomes engagement with India, China and USA as equals, where it will play each other off against each other to keep each one in turn in check.
