Now comes 1st tribal Provincial assembly election out of 16 seats they Won 1 seat that too from Waziristan out of 4 where they fielded 4 candidates on all 4 seats. So tell me its a Pashtun party or Waziristan party ? plus in 2014 its name was Mehsud Tahaffuz Movement which they changed latter to PTM on foreign agenda . Now come to ur argument that in Lahore if this happended what would ppl did ? Kindliy dont comapare any part of Pakistan with Waziristan where state writ restored after Zarb Azb only in 2016-2017 . This is major issue in PA and in all other armies. w/o officers the NCO-led troops show little restraint to any hostile body, hence causing unnecessary casualties just like those at Kharqamar. Yes the civilians were stupid to charge onto a military post, but better trigger discipline would've saved the Mil's image with the locals to a much greater extent.

The incident should also serve as an eye-opener for the image conscious Mil. These men are trained for combat with ruthlessness and no BS attitude. If you reduce them to policing duties you'd have to expect such mishaps to happen. Give the police control of CPs and use LCB/FC SOG for intel- based clearance ops. Mil HAS to give away the administrative duties. It's a waste of their resources and in effect destroying their carefully revived image post-Kayani.

I just shared official statement from the day of incident which clearly states five soldiers were wounded in firing by ptm terrorists. It was later on said that among injured at least 1 soldier was martyred later.

So your claim that there were no casualties to army in this incident is a lie or you are just ignorant. Take your pick
