The most disturbing thing about this news is the crazy notion that certain colours belong to certain communities only. Does that mean I shouldn't wear a green shirt on a Friday?

It kinda cuts close. I was recently in a Discord gaming chatroom full of Indian males. Of course, they were all Sanghi types. At some point, the moderator and a few others objected to me using green font scheme. I protested "what's the big deal?" The moderator said: "chatroom rules you must follow". None of us were discussing politics in that server. I did not pay them any attention and continued to use green colour font. In the end, they kicked me out of that chatroom, with a cheeky explanation - "inappropriate Jihadi font". It really baffled me.

The Sanghi virus corrupts the human brain in more ways than one. Might as well cut down all the trees.

I just remembered I am in a Pakistan forum. Now I can use all the green font I want with full freedom. YAY!

Modi is loosing states in elections and the wisdom of the Indian electorate will ensure Modi will lose eventually and a different govt will take over.

Indians are sensible and while they voted for Modi for the necessary economic reforms he promised, and a more robust foreign policy, his rate of return is falling and hence the more desperate pronouncements from some BJP loons.
India will move back to the centre either the next election or the one after that. That is in the nature of India

Indians are sensible and while they voted for Modi for the necessary economic reforms he promised, and a more robust foreign policy, his rate of return is falling and hence the more desperate pronouncements from some BJP loons.
India will move back to the centre either the next election or the one after that. That is in the nature of India

Apparently, the word "Hindu" is not present in Vedas, Puranas, Ramayana and Mahabharta. It appears that this name was given to the indigenous people of India by the Muslim invaders. They referred to the people living near the Sindhu River, as Hindus and they consider them as slaves, subservient and blind. The name given to the religion which preceded the modern term "Hindu" was "Sanatan" religion and before that it was known as "Ad-Dharm". Hindu is not a Sanskrit term.

The Rig Vedas were compiled by Aryan races who are light skinned to begin with. According to the ancient Persian historian Al Isthakri whose map in the past separated Sindh and Hind. The people of Sindh were Aryans and some Persian armies even agreed to recruit Sindhis and Jatts. However the two didn't agree to join the armies. Real Hind starts at lower Gujarat and are known as the Dravidian lands. Sindhis were not the black slaves that are being mentioned. They mention the Hindu lower caste Dravidian slaves who are black in skin color.

Furthermore, a Persian dictionary titled Lughet-e-Kishwari, published in Lucknow in 1964, gives the meaning of the word Hindu as “chor [thief], dakoo [dacoit], raahzan [waylayer], and ghulam [slave].”

In another dictionary, Urdu-Feroze-ul-Laghat (Part One, p. 615) the Persian meaning of the word Hindu is further described as barda (obedient servant), sia faam (black color) and kaalaa (black).

So these are all derogatory expressions for the translation of the term hindu in the Persian label of the people of India.

we are in the middle of a natural course correction, still shedding/bilging out the remains of the La Famiglia Raj.

it'll be 'game on' again once the purge is complete and we have a viable opposition again

which will be in another 10 years time or so

until which time the BJP will run roughshod over any challenger for the center and put in place the UCC as well as a population regulation (2 child) policy, nobody can stop that.

Sanatana Dharma is the original name of what is now popularly called Hinduism or Hindu Dharma. The terms Hindu and Hinduism are said to be a more recent development, while the more accurate term is Sanatana Dharma.
