In the 2014 version of this story he was injured by a crocodile needing eight or nine stitches. He used to swim across a lake infested with 39 crocodiles to a temple and come back and he apparently did that three times a day. So he got attacked in one those swimmings he was doing.

In version 2 he manages to capture a baby crocodile.
