There is still one discrepancy ... if two helis were the 'new' stealth version.. then what about the two chinooks .. were they also stealth ? how did they get in undetected .. Chinook is quite big and noisy..

There was little (if nothing) stealthy about the helos used. Just simply, the Americans used a combination of tactics; the knew the blind spots in PAF radar coverage, the used terrain-following flying and they effective jammed/incapacitated/confused the radars and sensors. Nobody knows the PAF/PA radars and other gizmos as well as the Americans do, after all they built and supplied them!

PAF & PA had stand down orders. 40 minutes of gunfight, all the residents heard the stealth helo when it was only over their heads the PA and PAF were told but did nothing because they had stand down orders. The military compound is a 10 minute WALK much less with vehicles. PA is not that incomptent.

If the PA and PAF had stand down orders then they should be fired then. The amount of resources that are spent on the armed forces just not justify the impotency of the PA and PAF. And this is not the first time either, an IAF Indian Mig-27 broke an air barrier over Islamabad many years ago because there was a 30 minute down timein switching radar systems.

Enough of this useless defense of lazy Generals, who prefer golf over combat. The entire top brass needs to be fired not because US took revenge from OBL because OBL was living in a suburb and the intelligence has no clue. Enough is enough, so many Pakistanis died in terrorism related incidents while the OBL was doing terrorism from within a populated suburban area.
