What's new

Modi, TRAI and Companies screwing Indian internet users

And TRAI is not a govt body @$$hole? F**ing Bhakt keep jumping in everywhere.

YOU pathetic modi hater BIGOT

TRAI is an independent authority , India has no regulatory laws on net neutrality as of yet , TRAI is asking views of all stakeholders (http://www.trai.gov.in/WriteReadData/WhatsNew/Documents/OTT-CP-27032015.pdf) before taking a call on it by 24th .

If you are so concerened about it go mail them first but then we all know you are a moron and your concern is only to rant here

So spare as of your BS

@Bang Galore do you need any further evidence that people in GOI are in the pay of big Telecom? @Rain Man @IndoCarib whitewashing job? Defence with your verbal gymnastics while they conspire to cut this country up and sell it piece by piece?

Was that a LinkedIn blog? Man you are going through a tough time! :(

On topic or whatever it is, what is your problem if some internet service provider offers facebook, bing and babajobs free to its customers? That benefits the customers, haven't you seen companies offering free stuff for promotional purpose?

It will be wrong only when they will try to charge more for accessing any particular website or internet service, airtel tried to do that once, and they were pulled up. So there is nothing to worry about your conspiracy theory.

Btw, wait for Reliance Jio to change the whole pricing of the internet service in India, waiting for rock bottom prices!

Advantage one- Bhakt can defend modi without even knowing the background or the seriousness of the issues concerned. Make vague statements and discredit source.

Shoooo....

Listen dear chap, appeal to TDSAT if TRAI does something you don't like. If they uphold it, pay or get a new provider. No one is forcing anyone to stay with the provider charging more. That is the beauty of competition. I don't really thing it will work, especially with the planned entry of Reliance JIO. Going ballistic about everything doesn't do a lot of help to your argument. Makes even the valid points you have sound cussed.

Another face saving exit when ran out of logic! :)

Advantage 1 applies here too.

Advantage 2 talk some vague shit to cover the fact that you didn't discuss the topic or understand it.

I discussed the topic, you are the one blabbering vague shit. Now go back to my first post and try to counter it with some sound logic, if you can. :)

ADvantage 3 - repeated and deliberate ignorance is a weapon. I'm sure paying a few pennies more for facebook is the reason why massive showdowns around the world on this are happening.

@Guynextdoor2, the article is well written and I think there are reasons to be concerned about, BUT you 'axed your own feet' by bringing in Modi unnecessarily and this thread became a troll fest instead of a subject of serious discussion.

Modi is not responsible for everything wrong happening in this country....and things don't change overnight, for ex., those telecom companies have been overcharging us for decades and they were quite happy during the Congress regime.
WhatsApp, Skype are relatively new phenomena about which the existing telcos. are jittery BUT how can you blame individual Modi for this, is he to be blamed for getting elected during a time when telcos. are jittery??
Ofcourse you can say that the govt. should do more to ensure 'Net Neutrality' and discuss about how it can be done, what alternative choices we customers have, how Indian companies like Reliance, Airtel are looting Indians, how Google is trying to circumvent this by launching it's own internet service etc., BUT you chose to pick on Modi and this thread has gone down the shitter.

did not get your daily dosage yet aaptard?

The idea that TRAI is not a government puppet as argued by some people here is silly. Evidently if that was the case then how could it not have any influence at all on the granting of telecom licenses during the scam? It is a puppet and remains so. And these 'big' initiatives are not created in vaccum. Whether they accept it openly or not any policy that gets discussed in public has been through a round of discussions in PMO. That's just how it is. Ravi Shankar Prasad's conflict of interest, that he took retainers from the likes of reliance even after he became minister is well known. And that is just the known part. The concerted effort to push through legislation that favors specifically companies of sectors (telecom/ tobacco etc. is enough to note how the government has taken money from them first, and drafted favorable legislation next.

This thread was bound to go down the shitter. You thik an average Bhakt will talk about Google Voda etc. the way you pointed out. The Illiterate people only know to bring in Sonia Robert Varda etc. into everything. The question of whether the legislation is right or wrong is not something they have the intellectual capacity to discuss.
