Modi to visit China in May

.
Chinese will remain hostile as long as we have good relations with US
China will reciprocate with Pakistan

All this is very much fcuked up
I just hope we grow peacefully without crossing each other and we should increase our mutual trade

It is not the US, it is we. We will be the biggest competitor to China, the biggest challenge, and the biggest roadblock to its dream of being the leader of Asia.

.
What are you saying...I love China. :P

On serious note...Indian media is very very unfriendly and unruly and can sometime twist the arm of the Government.
Especially that Arnab Goswami .
He doesn't let others speak. :P

Sir, not in our current form. But let us work towards achieving that goal.

.
I agree with you.

After the 2008 Credit crunch and the Eurozone crisis, the "developing countries" are not doing very well.

All the predictions of "double-digit growth rates" are now a distant dream.
Yeah...double digits look like a distant dream now :undecided:

Yes...Arnab Goswami ...can I forget that interview..hell..he totally unraveled Rahul Gandhi. It must be the worst decision Rahul Gandhi took to be interviewed by Arnab Goswami.

I was talking about the current scenario

And for the biggest competitor part....I already mentioned clash between China and India is inevitable

.
Sir, not in our current form. But let us work towards achieving that goal.

Current form is temporary, a few decades ago we were economically ahead of China, then China went for reforms and went ahead of us, we started reforms much later and even then it got derailed in between due to weak governance by the previous government (and also after the KN Rao govt.), now they are slowing down and we are about to sprint, the race is on and will continue throughout the rest of the century and beyond.

. .
Well....I m optimistic
I just don't want India to have a war with any country which may result in sanctions and dampen our growth
rest assured......both India and China have good days ahead

(I thought you said you are not good in English...it doesn't look like that :))

I dislike wars,too..But I don't think developing countries will develop without any problem made by other countries ,especially some developed countries.;)There are many failed states , why will China and India not join them?

And here is the bad policies of China that we should be careful about, from the same news report:

We must impose certain duties here to offset the undue benefits that Chinese finished products are getting in Indian market, I hope it has been done already. Any idea @SarthakGanguly ?
I can't understand,could you tell me simply?

I would want to go a step further, we both could resolve our border dispute , if that is resolved then we can grow a bit more peacefully.
The only solution I see is maintaining the current status quo.

We Indians aren't hostile to China , as you Chinese may think of.
Don't know about other Indian brothers but I find East Asian girls cute.

:p:

Damn! How come you are so pessimist .
Think positive. :P

.
Today or tomorrow, India has to pay royalties to the Dragon... ;)

:stop:......
the leader of Asia?
How do you define these words?

I don't think it is done. But in some sectors subsidies should be kept. Or there should be blanket bans on some Goods from the Chinese subcontinent. Since we don't and won't have forced labor camps, we need some subsidies till the market is captured by local manufacturers.

What you had then was the british left over ...
