Chinese have done a better job of first building a cohesive society before going after money. They have also done better wealth distribution. No one trusts India. It plays both sides and would sell its grandmother if paid enough. India has little to offer in natural resources or expertise. It has little indigenous military capability, its military hardware is a jamboree bought from anywhere willing to sell to them. India is deemed important only because of China and its large population, hence its potential market, but the vast majority of it population is dirt poor. Yes, India is important because everybody says it is, but is it really ?
One lesson we can learn from Indian economic growth is how NOT to get rich. They have 0 social cohesion, society full of hate and division which can erupt any time and all they care about is when they getting the next trillion.
Despite all the economic growth most of their positivity comes from the situation in Pakistan. It seems the best thing about India is the situation in Pakistan.
