What's new

Modi has accepted Nawaz's invite to Pakistan

It all depends on how the hard liners are handled in both countries..... When it comes to India, most of the hardliners are in the modi camp, and they hardly going to make any difference or any impact..... But when it comes to Pak , probably you can tell us more...

That's the biggest problem, the hardliners on both sides. Let's not kid ourselves, we have terrible political relations, but person to person relations are strong as ever. And let's not kid ourselves, we've both taken every opportunity to give the other a bloody nose, including playing dirty.

If in both nations, an effort can be make to get all on the political spectrum to give this a chance, we might see something spectacular.

Imagine what peace would bring us!

This is fake news. There is no such report in Indian Media. If Modi had accepted any invitation to come to Pakistan then our Media would have highlighted it in big way

Actually he have accepted but no dates have been fixed yet.

Modi need acceptability in the region and Nawaz provide him .
The "acceptability" you speak of has already been provided by majority of 500+ million voters. With that kind of mandate, any democratically elected leader can stand head and shoulders above the rest of the politicians, the world over. Fortunately, Mr. Sharif too has a majority mandate in Pakistan.

I watched the press conference of the MEA spokesperson and the foreign secretary. The foreign secretary told that Modi was invited by all SAARC leaders and he accepted all invitations. This is certainly not something concrete and I don't expect any visit to Pakistan soon. If there is no major terror attack from India in the next 2-3 years then there is a possibility.

even the foreign secretary's will be in "touch" not meeting, forget about him going to pakistan anytime soon.

Yes the whold world revolves around nawaz sharif , even obama will also be provided acceptability by pakistani prime minister, people and their delusions.

You Must be Kidding Mam...................... :what:

Take my note.... Whenever Obama will come South Asia then he will Visit India or after if any chance Pakistan or other country
