Money of Indian tax payers was used against their own country. What a brilliant plan!
If not anything I want to pat the back of these separatist's leaders who shamelessly accepted payments from the Indian government. Anyone with a lil self respect would not have done that.

I dont know if you know this, I mentioned it earlier in my post sometime back.

In 2011, a young Lieutenant of an Infantry Unit in CI grid in Bandipore, while on a night MOST, was approached by a woman, who wanted protection from some men. Upon enquiry, it was found that she was being coerced into making a P0rn.

Subsequently, upon clearance from the local commander, a raid was mounted and the concerned were arrested and handed over to the civil police. The girls were being exploited.

Next day, the police had to leave the guy, as directives from State government came as they were threatened by Hurriyat of agitation if the guy is not released....

This is the level of nonsense there. How will there be peace?

That's just the separatists. Would love to know about the kinda perks Kashmiri politicians get. It's win win at both ends..whether you are an anti-establishment hardliner or pro-establishment opportunist, it helps when you keep the place burning!

Actually that is something I appreciate in them.

They have not compromised with their ideology. They have not moved an inch from the demands of their Nizam e Mustafa. Our giving money to them is our 'weakness'. They did not ask for it. We expect/ed these people to turn around and align with the mainstream.

That worked before - with many groups. But here there is religion. The chance of compromise gets reduced to nil.
Yasin bhai may have left his guns, but not the fight. Bitta Karate may have stopped killing Pandits (after slaughtering 21, convicted), but he remains a hero and free - legally given amnesty by India.

I think only now India is coming to terms with a simple fact - There can NEVER be peace in Kashmir valley - not without fundamental changes.

First part. It was Sheikh Abdullah who created the ruckus. He and JL Nehru were equally suffering from ideas of grandiosity .....
