So if an Indian take antibiotics, would you be killing gods?
Yes. Kill one god to save another god.
But where ever possible life needs to be protected. It does not matter if it is human or bovine or horse or lions or elephants or snakes or birds or ants or insects or any other form of life.
Not only life but as a whole the whole nature and universe in general is considered manifestations of god and every effort is made to preserve.
an educational question. Aren't the cows in Pak and BD also the same as your cows.. shouldn't then they per default also be sacred or gods for hindus?
Any student of Vedas should understand few basic points
1) Sanskrit language is poetic in nature
2) For most part Vedic texts have used figurative speech and taking them in literal sense could lead to misinterpretation of the core message being conveyed
3) Vedic texts are full of analogies
Even through sacredness of cow has been alluded in multiple texts, most of the current debate originates from Bhagavad gita delivered by Sri Krishna.
Hence the anti-Hindus have started indulging in mudslinging and vilification of Sri Krishna is the recent times to nullify the message.

With a single fragment of myself I pervade and support this entire universe. The Supreme soul is represented throughout the entire material universes by His entering into all things as the Supersoul. From Brahma, the most gigantic entity, on down to the smallest ant, all are existing because the Lord has entered each and all and is sustaining them.

So one could see the context of the reference to the Indian breed of cow.
Vedic philosophy recognizes all life and energy as the manifestations of the supreme soul. That is the reason why Vedic people worship (meditate) on everything that they could perceive and focus on.
To give an analogy, If a nutritionist recommends people to eat spinach (among leaves) and Sweet Potato (among the roots), that does not translate to advice of avoid eating potatoes or mint leaves.
