Propaganda headline, it's not all of 80% scholarship but those scholarships that come under the minority tag. SC/ST/OBC and EWS tags receive much more than this.

Muslims are nearly 80% of the minority already, so no surprises here.

They could be tribals as per my guess but this news is deceit as I am studying at a government run university, I know that lists of non-minority scholarships contains Muslims names nowhere close to this number.

Tribals are usually complex to classify - they've their own religions but register as Hindu, sometimes they become Christian and register partially as Hindu (reservations things) and partially as Christians.

PS : Personally witnessed the later case.

you can fool few people but not everyone the schemes covered here are not coming from minority ministry alone they are coming from Ministry Of Labour and Employment, Department of Higher Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities etc

all these ministries were not having minority specific scholarships they just favoured muslims and these are just central schemes ,states not included.
