you're just making up stuff. Brits ruled the country just the kings ruled before them. If Rajendra Chola or Samudra Gupta can donate land to a patasala, so can the Brit rulers.
If the Christian schools are discriminating by religion, sure prosecute then, like you would any other organization that discriminates. This part of your rant is somewhat correct I think since in my high schools 80 to 90% of teachers were Christian.
But no take over by government - most schools run by governments have become employment agencies for unqualified teachers.
May be some of it is gratitude but I am old enough, traveled enough and experienced enough to distinguish that from facts. The Churches themselves were originally started and funded from abroad for the spread of Christianity - and therefore the schools and hospitals these Churches and Jesuits started indeed were originally quite often involved in community conversions. But that is not the truth now. Hindu communities in most parts of the country have proven internally strong enough not let happen what has happened in SOuth America or Africa ie outright adoption of Christianity.
Why do say I should hate them? The education they provided was better than anywhere else. We didn't convert, we kept and in fact expanded on our religion - so what's the problem?
I think you are hating them for trying to spread their religion, without looking inwards to see what prompted Hindus (those did convert) to convert? WHat happened the 'untouchables' to convert.
Please, don't be dramatic. Some one school saying don't wear rakshabhandan is what I am referring to as small mistake and you know it. Be honest to yourself.
'You People' is people who hate other religions withoput distinguishing between the good things and the bad things such religions bring; such hatred is doubly despicable when you think about how such hatred can inflame a country such as India that has 20% minorities, not 0.5%
Not true, I visited one just 10 days ago. BTW I am completely against the government taking over any patasala land as well. Because that puts the fate of vedic scholarship at the hands of dirty politicians. Not everyone is a Modi - a majority of politicians unfortuinately are dirty. Look at what's happening to temple trusts and trustees appointed by the govt! They award templae land cultivation to their friends and steal the harvest; they completely disrespect matt assets across the country. They replace temple jewels with fake....These are even more dangerous than any conversion attempts Christians can try. And NONE of what I said in this paragraph is anything I have not seen first hand...first hand.
intellect and ignorance are our own my friend. I credited them for parts of my education. In the town I had my 9th to 11th standards there were 6 high schools - two were run by jesuits, 1 largely known as run by a hindu board and the other 3 were govt/municipality run. The 2 christian schools beat the others in all aspects most of the time, the hindu run will occasionally challenge but the 3 govt schools never had anything positive. Sports, academics, other co-curricular.
Your hatred is talking, so it is futile for me to argue until you control that hatred. But look at what you quoted from Swami Vivekananda yourself. a) He knew to start with an IF unlike you who are very certain of everything. b) He also clearly says it is Punyabhoomi to come to account for ones Karma. The 2nd statement is akin to 'I am rich because I have money',not substantially different from 'Ihave money so I am rich'.
Tidal waves of philosophies have indeed proceeded from India - not 'philosophy'.
Whatever has happened to you, hope you get better.
