Gandhiites trying to get their leg over as usual ... typical banyay.
What? Now you got something against Mahatma Gandhi. Dude, that saintly person has been a global transformer. His passive resistance methods have inspired the US Civil Rights movement: Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. visited Sabarmati Ashram before getting the courage to fight White supremacists. He inspired Nelson Mandela: again, after his release from prison in Apartheid South Africa, Mandela first travelled to India (it was early 1990/91), and again visited Gandhi's ashram.
Gandhi has also inspired Kashmiri independence leaders including Geelani. Every anarchist in the world looks up to him as a role model. Even your PM Imran Khan invokes his name while discussing issues pertaining to India in Pakistani parliament (I saw a few speeches).
There is a reason Gandhi's image is so sacrosanct. He was the runners-up as the greatest person in the 20th century (according to Time magazine, for real). The topper was Albert Einstein, and this is what the man says about Gandhi. Chand par thooknay say chand par daag nahi parhta.
