What's new

Modi conferred ‘Grand Collar of the State of Palestine’

Exactly my point. India couldn't give a darn for Palestine.

The Palestine cause is a lost cause.

Perhaps Pakistan should have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Leave the Palestine problem to the Palestinians.

Do Arabs care about Kashmir dispute? Probably most of them do not.
To be fair, it isn't as if Pakistan actually highlights the problem properly. The Zionist controlled media doesn't help either and India is great at global deception. We're our worst enemy here, I am sure if the common Arab people knew maybe (okay maybe it is still a stretch) they'd be more vocal about it. My problem is with the Arab leaders who clearly don't give a damn about Pakistan except when they want our soldiers to die for their wars and such. Enough is enough.

.
Again with your "unique race and unique culture" :D. As i said Kashmir is not holy for Muslims. Kashmir is more like border dispute than actual holy war.

Who said anything about ALL Muslims? I'm specifically talking about Pakistanis and what is important to us. A people who are completely different to us in EVERY way can NEVER understand this. That's race realism for you :azn:

Absolutely, its what Pakistani's need to understand

Our hatred for hindus is total

Too many Pakistanis have drunk the ummah cool aid expecting that the arabs would naturally stand with us, when our real allies have emerged as China (atheist nation) and Turkey (same religion but bonds based on history, culture etc)

As Pakistan becomes more self reliant we dont expect nations to forgo economic interest in the name of possible future conflict between Pakistan and India

So Pakistanis who still believe in ummah (dwindling number) need to understand the nature of arabs to understand that our interests and emnity with india comes first and doing anything for arabs is a waste

Yemen was just the start

POTW!!!!!!!!!!!!...........

Perhaps Pakistan did the right thing by leaving the Houthi war to Saudi Arabia.
I mean we cannot fight other people's wars. The houthi was is not our problem.
Does Saudi Arabia fight in Pakistan's wars. No, they do not.

Actually I am not one of those Pakistanis who gets annoyed at Arab countries for choosing to maintain excellent relations with India. At the end of the day it is all about your own interest. What I am saying is that Pakistanis are generally raised to believe in the concept of Muslim solidarity and having each others back. That is why Pakistan has not recognized Israel. What they dont realize is that Arabs dont support Palestinians out of Islamic solidarity but out of Arab brotherhood. This is why there is next to no support for Kashmir in the Arab world (I know this since I am married to a Palestinian and my wife freely admits forget Kashmiri she didnt even know what a Pakistani was till she met me lol). Unlike the GCC, the Levant has a minute Pakistani presence at best.

With regards to Abu Mazen, I am laughing at him awarding the President of India the highest award Palestinians can give to foreign dignitaries based on the fact that the said recipient of this award is also the largest financial supporter of the Israeli war machine (in terms of weapons imported). The irony is just amazing!

I would not call relations that only resolve around economy and expat presence and hardly any strategic alliance (for now at least and if I am wrong please prove me otherwise) to be excellent. Excellent and strategic relations is what most Arab countries have with China. Or the West (although this is a complicated matter). Or even Pakistan but just on a smaller scale for now due to the difference in size and population and thus economy between Pakistan and India and the Pakistani government (s) - plural due to successive ones, shooting themselves more often than not when it comes to creating the right climate for foreign investors. That's something I know that my Pakistani friends talk about openly and lament openly.

That concept is a Muslim concept that Pakistanis are not alone with. Arabs too are taught this from early school years (I was taught this too and even by my parents who emphasizes that while the current world is a jungle, you should stick closest to those that you are most familiar with and share the most with in that jungle and here Muslims were one of those groups, compared to say Papuans or Mexicans).

Pakistan has not recognized Israel due to the love of Palestinians or Arabs (or lack thereof) but due to Pakistani religious sentients and due to the religious importance of that land and its holy sites. If that was not the case the average Pakistani would know/care as little (IMO) about this conflict as you do when it comes to the Darfur conflict.

That's wrong. There are many Arabs who focus on Islamic solitary rather than ethnic solidarity. Many in fact. Arabs are still "tribal" people to some extent and as in every tribal society (Pashtuns and Baloch can recognize this - I believe that you are a Punjabi so maybe less here) the biggest disagreements can often occur among each other.

That's like saying that religion (Islam) is not a element of the glue that holds such a diverse nation like Pakistan stick together.

That is due to Pakistan (IMO) doing a bad job (media wise, politically) at highlighting what is going on. Most Arabs and Muslim are not familiar with day to day Indian-Pakistani political feuds, do not speak Hindi or Urdu or other regional languages, do not travel much to Pakistan or India (at least not that part of the region) and Pakistani media have almost no presence in Arabic language and the ones that have a presence in English, are for a limited community (Pakistanis). For instance I first learned about the existence of the Pakistani newspaper (Dawn) here on PDF. Otherwise I would likely never have discovered it. And reading some articles from that newspaper, it seems that it is more pro-India and anti-Arab and anti-Pakistan than it is pro-Pakistan.

Well, we are laughing at him too. Most Palestinians are doing the same (I am sure that you are aware of this or at least should be with a wife from Palestine). Just like I am laughing at some of our policies and thinking that US is to be trusted given its track record in the region.

BTW what I tried to get across here on this thread, is that I believe that the reason why Pakistanis are higgling Arabs here (when you could easily highlight Chinese, Iranians, Turks and ALL other majority Muslim peoples and nations since they all have relations with India) is that you have too high expectations of Arabs that might be religiously or historically motivated. Many Pakistanis seem not to understand (either) that Arabs have many problems of our own and that our leaderships (which is a general trend in the Muslim world, including Pakistan) is far from representative (always). Thus this creates a division between ruler and ruled. For instance when the ruler of Abu Dhabi is saying some words in Hindi that I do not even know fully, it makes it appear like all 2 million Emiraits are clued to the screen trying to (at the same time) pronounce the words with a grin on their face.

Arabs are no different from any other Muslims, including Arab states, but Arabs are still your closest allies economically and on other fronts and you cannot run away from that.

With all due respect, if you are familiar with your own history, you will know that Arabs and our ancestors share more and have a much older common history than with Turkic peoples (the real ones in Central Asia) as well as our Turkish Anatolian friends. So not sure why you are highlighting history or culture as if that was not the case with Arab-Pakistani relations (even much more so in fact). Just saying. Let's be honest from a geographic, historical, economic and demographic viewpoint, there is no chance of Pakistani-Arab relations suddenly changing dramatically or becoming outright hostile, so you should not worry about Arabs here anymore than other Muslims. Although (of late) it is easier to make character assassinations of Arabs.

there r many things that has brought us to where we are right now.
back in the days we use to celebrate everything coming from arabs.
even when nawaz sharif was about to rott in jail or hanged saudi king intervened and believe me no one objected in the whole country.
people use to think that allah has blessed arabs with soo many wealth of every kind.
it was a sense if pride.
leme share a little story here off topic but funny.
once pakistanis were luring russians to stop selling sukhois to india by saying we wana buy the plane.
russians asked them do u have money cos they could see pakistan is a broke nation.
our only reply was we have saudia.
man that was the confidence like we have a brother.who will take care of us.
now we kept israeli enemety in our heart since 1947 even that is highly costly for us sometimes
during kargil war israel rushed to indian help cos we were there enemy.
no one is saying that we r very good but the point is blood is thicker then water and business is temporary faith is eternal

.
Good to see that finally Palestinians found a true friend as Modi, and now they will get the freedom and land and their struggle will end.
Modi and Trump are only two true leaders who can make thins world peaceful. All Arab countries are realizing one by one and coming closer to Modi and India, some Arab has stated to accept Hindu religion and culture as well. this will continue as wise once will recognize the true savior and leader when they see and meet one.

Evil Pakistan will keep loosing friends and keep suffering.

.
now I understand why Persians and Israelis despise arabs while Pakistanis worship them :laughcry:

Pakistan has more to gain by recognizing Israel then agonizing itself into arabi politics. When will we finally ditch these people?

I think that the increased selfishness creeping into Muslims (who were otherwise always admired for their close ties as a religious community, probably more than most if not all others) worldwide is a symptom of what is going on in our own countries and the weakening of tradition and thus increased rootlessness. Everything (now more than ever IMO) is about profit. What can I gain from x or y. Never (rarely) what can I give to x or y, maybe he/she will return the favor one day and a true friendship (potentially) is formed. I also catch myself (from time to time) thinking what all this is worth, what it is about and why we are doing what we are doing.

I wish there was a magic button one could push so sanity could prevail but without strong leaders and without people demanding their leaders to change their approach so it reflects the wishes of the majority of the people (if that approach is good moreover, not always a guarantee, Hitler was elected democratically and Socrates was executed by democratic vote) and making it clearly felt, there is little short-term relief IMO.

What I think could be a solution to how nations states by nature could grow closer is to create the right environment that sounds them. For instance like done in the West/EU. Here nations, economies and thus people are closely interconnected. We don't have anything remotely similar in the Muslim world. Not even the GCC yet. So that is where I would start as well as creating platforms for direct interaction between people of countries x or y. A bit like our Majlids where local meet and discuss everything under the sun.

Speak for yourself. Most Israelis (in fact up to 80% if you include the 20% Israeli Arabs) are Arab Jews (2/3 of all Jewish Israelis) so hatred is a silly word to use here. Where was this hatred prior to 1948? Confined to a few areas.

As for Persians, similar. Many close historical ties and the rivalry (between people to people) is blown out of proportion and has little to do with ground realities.

BTW from what I remember you are an anti-Arab individual so of course you will only focus on Arab trade relations while closing the eye when China, Iran, Turkey and ALL Muslim countries (in fact the entire planet, including Pakistan itself) trades with India. Nothing new. Take a look at my previous posts as you seem to have missed them "deliberately". Anyway "enjoy" your hatred.

FYI, pakistani don't take issue with anyone trading with India, it is expected. India is an economic powerhouse with rapidly growing middle-income population and high purchasing power, everyone wants their business.

unfortunately, pakistanis are retarded and get too emotionally invested. pakistan always have and will remain to be your personal bodyguard. Your kind has brought nothing but destructive, hateful ideology to our once moderate nation. A worthless, irrelevant, pseudo-country like palestine disrespect us yet al-bakistanis will chant for their freedom and burn down cities for their sake. That's how manipulated our population has become under "ummah" banner. you buyout sharifs, musharrafs and other corrupt stooges and manipulate our internal affairs.

your buddy emiRATS use backhanded methods to destabilize pakistan specifically in balochistan.

Maybe now you'll understand why some pakistani despise your snake-kind

Ok. Whatever makes you sleep better at night buddy. Can't argue against such very "wonderful" and convincing arguments of yours so let us just say that you are spot on as usual.

Don't quote me again when you can't stand criticism against your extremist and destructive ideology which has ruined the Muslim world.

I don't recognize your simplistic criticism or narrative so not being critical enough would require me to take it seriously to begin with. Sorry dude.

I don't even know what you are talking about? Are you talking about Islam itself? Sunni Islam? Shia Islam? Sufism? They all originate from modern-day KSA.

I identify as a Shafi'i Sunni Muslims so that is my ideology. I am not a Hanbali, not that there is anything wrong with being that at all.

You have your opinions, I have mine. Let's leave it at that.
