good info, have to look into thisWe need justification to close airspace. If we do it without valid reason, the international body (i dont remember name) can fine us and force us to open it again. So we need solid justification to do that (heard in a TV program told by Gen (r) Amjad Shoaib).

He further said that Feb airspace was closed after Indian attack. he also give example of 1971 incident where India used hijacking to close airspace.

When Fawad sab will realize that his Ministry has changed long time now, let the new Minister do his/her job.
please explain to us sir .air traffic volume too
because we are missing a pair of marbles . when our PM was bashing modi on tv modi was onboard flying to coming pakistani space .
sir you can close it as you likeI shared what I heard on TV.
well your idea is wrong sir .indian economy is 2.596bn$ and its not few million dollars but few hundreds million dollar . now think air india need 6 hours to reach dubai with 400$ ticket and emirates in 4 hours with 300$ . it will not damage only travel cost but maintenance passengers load turn around time and much more . its really bite them hard .Can u also plz explain what would closing airspace achieve?? A few million dollars a year loss? Their 3 trillions dollar economy can handle it. Also closing airspace without valid reasons causes international ramifications. Our planes can be banned by many countries in response. This is not the solution. We need to be smart and work on long term solutions.
