I wonder how he was chosen as Senior Member:confused::confused:

Simple. Dont go by a member's number of posts or seniority. Quality of the post over quantity - FTW. If you think a post is substandard for the seniority level, ignore or call it out with facts.

I can give you examples wherein new members with quality posts became mods/TTs very soon.

Is there a way of knowing how many people of what nationality are there on this forum?

There must be a limit of post counts per section... I mean only members with 300+ posts should be able to post in Pakistan sections... (current affairs, economy, pakistan's war etc)...that will reduce the number of SPAMs in no time

So when a new member joins,

He will post in Introduction threads, Members club (where posts will not be counted) and non-Pakistani sections..... let him come with sanity

Once he got 300 posts (that will take a lot of time) we might know a little about him by now and then he can post in Pakistan's affairs too...that will reduce the trolls 90% as the majority do not last here before 300 posts

Mr. Zaki you’re being extremely biased here. The quality of the forum won’t improve by implementing a slanted law /rule like the one you’re preaching, but rather it will complicate things even more. If Pakistan related threads are troll-defiant then so are the threads dedicated to India and other countries. If you want a newcomer to reach a 300 post count before they can post into Pakistan related threads, you should also expect them to meet the same requirement before they start talking about Indian toilets.

The fact is trolls come in all shapes and sizes, ranks and post counts. I’ve seen many newbies (somebozo etc.) who started making worthwhile contribution from the very beginning and then I’ve also seen many senior member who’ve made 9000+ posts out of which 1000 are oneliners like ‘polygamy is the key to success and a long life’ and in another 1000 posts they are threatening some random member to report his/her thread/reply. Sometimes you’ll find the elite members troll like there is no tomorrow and sometimes even trolls will talk sense.
Should you erect a post count barrier for the newcomers, it’ll take ages for pdf to see a new member participate in healthy discussion since the posts made into members club won’t count. So, we better let the admins do things their own way. ;-p

I know who are the headache of this great forum and I am happy that Bangladeshi members are not in that row. But whatever it is - Indian member are the very very important for this forum, so there should not be any hard rule which may upset Indian members,
