Missile sale from France to Egypt depends on US permission, Dassault head says

. . .
I am more concerned about,if these systems of western origion are compromised during conflict, rather then EAF punch.

I realize that and shared a bit of that concern, but also tried to point out that just because there might be an issue with that one particular weapon system (which is an offensive weapon), doesn't mean the Rafale has lost its potency. It's still very capable as a defensive tool in a defensive oriented military and is also an excellent A2A platform which will be complemented by the others and that also Israel is not that big a concern. That was my point.

The SCALP issue will eventually be resolved someway because think about it; if there was any truth to what your link mentioned, then what's the concern of selling the SCALP to Egypt?

Some say that it is related to a chip necessary for the use of Military grade GPS!? The US had forbidden that on the Harpoons too..

A solution will be the integration of the Russian X-59Mk2 on the Rafale if the US continue refusing.. France should oblige _in the worst case scenario_ to at least integrate the Russian missile that will use Glonast instead of the US GPS..Since Egypt has already an agreement with Russia to use its global positioning system.. and because without the GPS component..the Scalp will lose a lot of its effectiveness.. mostly precision wise..

France says:
"Two possibilities. Either France manages to convince the United States to allow the export of this component which would then allow MBDA to supply Scalp cruise missiles. Going in the direction of such negotiations, we can note that Emmanuel Macron must go to the United States on April 23 and 24.
Will he discuss this topic with his US counterpart Donald Trump?

Another possibility: that MBDA changes its component in order to have only French parts on the Scalp missile ... Contacted by L'Usine Nouvelle, neither Dassault Aviation nor MBDA have commented."

But this is not very trustworthy, since the Dassault CEO also said that the US has the right to deny this deal..

BTW France has already accepted the integration of a Russian antiship missile before..according to some sources..

* The EAF does not have any munitions using GPS. Modern munitions owned by the Egyptian Air Force are laser guided.

How funny to see when they don't give you the goods and thinking you will find it somewher else:-). Are the russian prepared to give ther codes to france to intregrate ther weapons, or is france prepared to allow russian weapons?

that being said, will the russian weapon fit the rafeal? ther are so many questions will the rafeal even fly with a cruise missile?

Is france playing with egypt not to deliver the missile? Well they have delivered i thought uea but with downgraded to 380 km aahhahah.

That thing we are talking about is much bigger than your entire fragile country.

BTW

Maybe maybe not..Sipri not known for its accuracy in reporting armement transfer...If you they were given to Egypt with the first deliveries, why they stop know? What has changed ?
My take is they were never delivered, promised maybe but never delivered, and never will be until you uncle Nat change his position and the Western powers forget that you are a Muslim state, instable at best..and the head of the 19 hijacker, was Egyptian...Trump , unlike other that preceded him, didn’t forget ...
“Fragile” définition is different than the one you find in an Egyptian dictionary...:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
Algeria drove 4000 kms to save you from Natanyahu’s tribe..twice, that is not fragility..that is called strength..
Algeria took and repatriated 40,000 soccer fan to Oumdurban in 72 hrs, without a single injury, that is what is called a show of force...not a fragility..:fans::fans::fans:

I know that you are desperate to put your Fragile country in any respectful actions.....you are pathetic.
Have no history and have no influence in the modern days so you try to hijack other people’s history.
During our wars with Israel....your country was just or even still occupied by France....and getting help from Egypt.....that’s why France,Israel, and UK...declared war on Egypt.

You are so naive.

This SIPRI reprt makes it even stranger, bro, that they would deliver the first 30 SCALPs without any issue then suddenly have a problem with the next batch of 20? If the report is in fact correct that all 30 were delivered between 2015-17 and the additional 20 were blocked with the second order of 12 Rafales, then it can't be because the US component conflicts with its ITAR regulations standards for weapons with certain components sold to certain countries, but rather it's another issue, be it financial or contractual between the US and France/Dassault and not a restriction one.

That the bullshit they fed your head...try something else...You were a case in 48,56,67,73 and now..and you have no place to talk about any countries...Algeria is a country known and her history predate yours..and our culture is ours, Yours was imported from more clever people of the time..
You have pyramids..but Sudan has them and Algeria too..There are not as big as Egypt’s neverless they are pyramids, and some were find in Lybia...Now found how did they get to Egypt...since history showed in the era, civilisations were moving West to East..
For the Suez wars, there is a thread documented by Algerian and Egyptians officer that participated in a all combat level..you go there resources yourself..you needed to read it in a bad way...you will be mesmerized by the absence of the Algerian troops that were were chredding Sharon forces to peace’s, while Sadat was victory parading in Cairo not knowing that Sharon was in Egypt proper..hhhhEgypt is the only country in the world that parade in utter defeat..and paraded when the Algerian forces forced Sharon to sign on the dotted line in K101...
And then we have to feed your sorry a,,,ses to this day..we still doing it..
