The bomb cannot detonate due to incineration or kinetic energy.

I think you got it wrong mate. By hundreds of kms, it means detection/tracking of the incoming targets. I do not think Indian BMD system uses EMP but kinetic warheads. Most of the tests were hit-to-kill interception.

About EMP shield, all of our new systems are shielded against EMP.

NCR is more prone to attack than even Mumbai due to geographic location and as the powerhouse of India. Of course Mumbai is the second choice. I think They should deploy the system as fast as possible.

It is AAD+PAD. There will be another deployment level test of AAD in this month. But I am eagerly waiting for PDV test.

Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai has more population than Hyderabad that's why they took this priority, Don't worry Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin will all be included in next phase.

I think they will initially deploy PAD, later it will be replaced by PDV. PDV test has not begin yet, so it will take few years of tests.

In the meantime, we should also follow the development of S-500 closely... And should procure some of them when developed ...

S-500 is a complete new generation ABM system underdevelopment in Russia, its in initial stage of development. May be deployed by 2018. I somewhere read that it will not be available for sell or joint-development. But India should make a try.

Both. One for exo and another for endo.

PDV test delayed. It will also delay AD-1 and AD-2. But remember Indian BMD programme is one of the fastest in the world. It was a smooth development. Lets hope the best for this month's test.

AD-1 and AD-2 are parallel programmes. One is endo, another is exo atmospheric interceptor.
