ANP is pro Pakistan party but not liked by PDF nationalists. I've been reading about them and looks like they were right all along. Here is why....

1. They warned Pakistan for supporting Afghani terrorists against Soviets. Back then people started labelling them pro India/Soviet and going as far as saying anti-pashtuns for not supporting so called afghan pashtun mujahaidin. They knew these afghanis will soon cross over and bring their ideology with them in to ungoverned FATA which was already hub of all criminal activities.

2. They know tribals better then anyone else. Unlike fake pathan Imran Khan who have only read about them in British books. They warned Pakistan again after 9/11.

All their predictions turned out to be true. With some section now again trying to bring back days of terrorism in KP and FATA in the label of PTM, its time for ANP to come back in power. PTI pro taliban stance will not help here.

Is this thread based on your opinion or do you have any sources to back them up?

You mean source of ANP stance on afghan jihad? Many videos of Asfanday Ali Khan on youtube on that. I couldn't care less about their anti-punjab rhetoric which is norm in KP to win votes and PTI used same tactics. Their stance on terrorism is more important.

Your points are so stupid to answer.
Well, do you know why do they wear red caps? Isnt red the symbol of communism? Secondly, wasnt their haramkhor leader Bacha Khan against the creation of an independent state, Pakistan, and asked to bury in Afghanistan.

When did PTI use anti-Punjab rhetoric? Do you have any evidence.

Being anti-noora is not same as being anti-Punjab.

I don't know this guy, unless you mean Asfandyar Wali Khan.

I suggest you do a bit more research on ANP, and just to help you out, i will even guide you on what to check.

1. Who was Bacha Khan or Frontier Gandhi. What was his stance about Pakistan?
2. Where is he buried?
3. Who were the "Red shirts" and what was charter of the Bannu resolution of 1946/1947 (sorry can't remember the correct year)
4. Who came up with the word Pashtunistan?
5. Finally what is their stance on Kalabagh dam?

P.S. ANP is almost wiped out from KPK, they can't even find people to hand out tickets for the next elections. They might still win some seats in Balochistan and Karachi

Bacha Khan was ignorant fool but he had good intentions. He obviously didn't know much about hindus like those living in Uttar Pradesh muslim league members. He only dealt with them through cunning hindu Congress who presented it self as secular face of Bharat. Even though we know by nature hindus are anything but secular as its been made clear now.

Hindus living in Pakistan before 1947 were obviously not like hindutvas you see dominating cow belt.

1. What was deobandi mullahs stance on Pakistan who are now tekedar of Islam in Pakistan funded by state and Saudis?

EASYLOAD some?

Yes, but complete the sentence: ANP was pro Soviet Union and Anti Jehad...

But more than that, if you keep crying wolf on every policy of the federation then you are naturally going to be correct on at least one. It does not become a principled stance or political wisdom ahead of time.

Staying away from referring historic stances of "Anti Istaymari quwwat" to "sitting in the lap of US" ANP has come a long way.

I agree with you, all these mulla parties and the KK movement had the same stance.

But i still recommend you to do abit more research before putting your support behind ANP, especially on the topics i posted previously.

one more thing, did you know that NAP broke into 2 parties, ANP and Awami League, the same party that is now in power in Bangladesh.

. . .
ANP is not pro Pakistan but pro Pashtun party which is all about Pashtun nationalism where intrests of Pashtuns come before intrests of Pakistan. They have more attachment and loyalty toward Afghan Pashtuns than others ethnic groups of Pakistan just like their forefather traitor Wali

Secondly ANP had ideology clash with Talibans thatswhy they supported wars agsinst them as it threatened their rule in KPK .. Yes Imran khan is also naive who opposed war on terrorism and think that TTP can be handle with love and pyaar

Sorry to say but either your ignorant or direct/indirect beneficiary of ANP. They are not nationalist but opportunists. They did massive levels of corruption in there past 10 yrs of tenure. I am not a fan of imran khan but Pti did alot better in 5 years.

ANP was against the Soviet-Afghan war because the Communist government supported a "Pashtunistan" and the ANP. The ANP was directly allied to the pro-Soviet regime in Afghanistan.
