Well people need to be educated and groomed. Pakistanis should learn to respect women. I don't say all people are the same but of course a large enough that can bring shame to the whole humanity. But on second thought, it can be a plot by the opponents (the corrupt, ill-groomed and un-civilised junta) to jeopardise the otherwise very successful protest against the corruption.

We as a society are to blame for this. What do you expect from a bunch of young guys who have been sexually frustrated all their lives? Off course they will act irrationally when they see a bunch of beautiful women. I have attended a bunch of Jalsa's of PTI and it was very apparent that our youth is so sexually starved. Not to mention, when they see Sunny Leone on TV or their phones, off course they will act crazy.

This issue - poor planning of Pakistani political rallies - seems to be a recurrent problem. Solution is to hire professional conference organizers and - not in the political sense - party planners. That will better coordinate traffic and people flow with security and speechmaking, etc.

We as a society are to blame for this. What do you expect from a bunch of young guys who have been sexually frustrated all their lives? Off course they will act irrationally when they see a bunch of beautiful women. I have attended a bunch of Jalsa's of PTI and it was very apparent that our youth is so sexually starved. Not to mention, when they see Sunny Leone on TV or their phones, off course they will act crazy.

Sexual harassment result due to decline in traditional values. People blame Zia for many things he had done which may or may not be true but one thing was for sure, he punished those who crossed red lines. Women were treated with utmost respect and there was a complete ban on prostitution.

Unfortunately Pakistani culture today is being dictated by the elite. That said, the obsession with vulgar Bollywood films and Western world's Secular ills has lead to the point where there is no sense of morality and pornography is considered to be unique and as a topic taught and displayed in Pakistani art schools. PTI's supporters are among believers in all this stuff.

Mismanagement reported at PTI rally, yet again

LAHORE: Despite Imran Khan’s assurance, women have been manhandled yet again at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Lahore Sunday, Samaa reported.

The PTI chairman had tendered an apology over harassment of women supporters at the party’s foundation day rally in Islamabad last week.

Imran had promised that the party would not allow such incidents to ever happen again, vowing to take strict measures to ensure protection of women at the party’s public gathering.

Responding to incident, PTI leader Naeemul Haq accused Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif of sending hooligans to sabotage the event.

He demanded of the police to take action against the people involved in manhandling the women.

Meanwhile, Punjab government ordered to arrest the people involved in manhandling the women.

"An action would be taken against those people who broke into women enclave," Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said. –Samaa

Case against indecent treatment of women at PTI's Lahore rally registered

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Case against indecent treatment of women at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally at Charing Cross has been registered, Dunya News reported Monday.

First Information Report (FIR) was launched under sections 394, 354 and others at Civil Lines Police Station. Culprits would soon be arrested after identification through CCTV footages.

Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that PTI chief Imran Khan’s arrest is likely in the case in capacity of a facilitator.

Earlier on Sunday, scenes of previous public gatherings in the federal capital were repeated as chaos ensued after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally ended at Lahore’s Charing Cross. Even a separate enclosure for women could not curtail incidents of harassment during the public gathering.

According to the details, men had blocked the exit points reserved for women while incidents of misbehavior were observed.

Administration immediately sprung into action and normalized the situation before it spiraled out of control.

Several of the youngsters in the rally involved in hooliganism were thrashed as well in attempt to dispel the chaos.

Women were provided a safe passage under the watchful eye of the administration.

Prior to this, similar, even more serious incidents of harassment were observed at PTI’s rally that was earlier held in Islamabad. PTI chairman Imran Khan had apologised for these incidents.
