Mirza declares war on MQM – The Express Tribune



BADIN: Former Sindh Interior Minister, Zulfiqar Mirza has announced war against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and termed its chief, Altaf Hussain’s ailment and admission to hospital as a “drama”.

While talking to media in Badin, Mirza said that he had revealed only 10 per cent of the information against MQM and the rest is yet to be revealed.

The former minister said that he is a now a non-political person and his only aim is to serve the people of Sindh.

He also reiterated his loyalty with President Asif Ali Zardari and said that those who criticise the President should consider Mirza as their enemy.

Mirza also issued an apology, saying he was sorry if he hurt anyone by his earlier statements.

Mirza had revealed a bombshell last week when in a marathon press conference he alleged the MQM to be involved in target killing, extortion and even pursuing an anti-state agenda.

He had also alleged that Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik was siding with the MQM and blackmailing the federal government.

Mirza had also tendered his resignation from his posts in the Sindh government and political party, the Pakistan People Party.

Mirza had produced documents, which he had amassed during his time as the Minister of Interior of Sindh against the MQM.

But again Zulfiqar Mirza has become a hero for many because of his anti urdu speaking stance. Isn't like half of Interior Sindh under water? Why isn't the lion of Sindh and Sindhi Nationalist Zulfiqar Mirza helping out his own people when they are all drowning? The same person that said "I will break Pakistan and make a country out of Sindh" is now failing to help out his own people but instead is waging war and trying to start more bloodshed in Karachi (without Khi Sindh would be worse that Balochistan).

anyway, Mirza definitely is doing all this with a PLAN, master minded by Zardari... I dont know what elements in the equation has changed, which made Zardari and Mirza to make this move, but its definitely going to give some tough time to MQM, Im not sure why MQM is low on all this... their typical "Response" has not been seen yet...
