So, No its not just directed towards Navodaya Vidhyalayas...

Who care for your list? By all means make that list and shove it up you know where. it says 'open to" not "have to" or "must participate". You realize that over 98% of India doesn't celebrate christmas right? there may be many students who want to participate.. The circular is in Navodaya letterhead, then it will only apply to navodayas. You must realize that too? or that my assertion was right in the first place.

You don't believe me just because you don't want to. You just want to dance around saying govt is persecuting the minorities. Let truth go to hell. What do you thin of "holiday" in navodaya? that students can do whatever they wish? The difference between "holiday" and normal day in navodaya is "no classes". You still have to do all other activities like campus cleaning (yeah right, we have to clean our own school campus, and nobody is allowed go out of the campus unsupervised), hobby activities, mess duty, daily attendance and any competitions/activities. If you are in either 10/12 std, forget about holidays, there are supervised studies 7 days a week, especially after august.
