Food for thought for those who want China as their enemy and preparing for war with China
It doesn't really serve as food for thought if someone has already seen those video clips
Regardless how you post, we will see a continuation of Japanese policy towards things like the QUAD, Free and open Indo-Pacific, emphasis on the US-Japan alliance and so on. What could change it is if the PRC relaxes on the Senkaku islands, claim on Taiwan, and the 9 dash line. The unfortunate thing is that momentum has built up on both sides that a sudden decision to change course by one side can't be expected to slow down the momentum on the other side immediately. Lots of time for wheeling back escalation will be needed.
The strange thing about China still being interconnected in the world economy is that many of the surrounding countries plus European countries will still continue to trade with China but at the same time continue building up a military coalition against China. Afterall, even UK and French naval assets are increasing their moves here.
A sort of equation comes out of it. Z = benefits to outside countries inside of PRC. Y = PRC military strength. X = Coalition military strength in Indo-Pacific. The equation is X - Y = Z.
So if Y (PRC military strength is 5) and if X (Coalition military strength in Indo-Pacific) is 4, then...
4 - 5 = -1
-1 for benefits to outside countries inside of PRC. Or in other words, China is reaping decent profit with inside business with international businesses.
But if the coalition keeps getting stronger and if the PRC military strength suddenly collapses, then the equation may look like this...
7 - 2 = 5
The coalition countries would be in a strong position to push for economic benefits. And since the whole high tensions and military threats would have been going for a long time, the coalition countries may be in the mood to take advantage of that position of strength as justice served.
Just like how I don't want to see a PRC hegemony take advantage of military leverage strength in the region for its own benefits in economy, strategic position, and freedom of expression, I wouldn't want China to be so weakened so that it too would be taken advantage of as well. So in basic form, I'm not against a strong China.
looks like a fvkn brainwashed cult,a nation with such cult are a danger to the whole world .
Indeed. He really gives a bad image of China. But he's probably playing bad cop in this thread while the others play good cop by showing "how wonderful China is".
