The people,including the CM KPK,are so misinformed. The infantry division that they talk about is not present in DI Khan. Only the Rear HQ is present there.
The whole DI Khan is nothing but a rear/logistical support HQ for the from deployment. It has little operational capability and just enough force to secure its premises.
I think its about time ISPR cleared up this **** for the dumbfucks all over Pakistan.

Being based in a cantt doesn't mean you have 15000 troops standing attention all the time.

The units in DI Khan would most probably be involved in the WoT, and only the folks necessary for DSG, QRF duties would be present.

I said it in another thread, explained the whole thing. Having a cantt nearby doesn't mean you have a unit to move quickly.

12 Infantry div in Murree has around 30k troops, the largest div in this region, but you don't have 30k troops sitting in Murree...only around 3000 at best, including the ADM, logistic, ASC, Engineers, driver, tech, EME etc.

Its futile to argue with some people. They do not understand how politicized the police and even rangers and FC became during mush the great's tenure.

But there are some doubts in the incident.. There was a news that Army has surrounded the jail. Then how come they get away? No follow-ups after those who run away? But again KPK CM is doing very wrong in spreading misinformation about presence of Army in D.I Khan.

No, there was no surrounding by the Army. It was all misinformation by the media...as they always do.

One QRF Land Rover doesn't mean you have the jail surrounded.

A regular dead beat gets 20-22+ K starting.. a soldier gets 4-5 at starting... a soldier get to see him family after months .. a cop doesnt even do his duty properly.. a soldier fights on the border,helps in floods,builds roads bridges etc ... a cops opens the prison doors for taliban...and runs away...
