maybe world has started realizing that Tomahawks are no alternate to dialogue. In any case not many economies around the globe are in a position to afford a crisis like this.

Hizbollah stops Saudis and Kuwaitis at improvised checkpoints

Kuwait and Bahrain have issued new travel warnings for Lebanon, after Kuwaiti and Saudi nationals were stopped at unofficial road blocks allegedly manned by Hizbollah.

The two countries reiterated warnings for their citizens to avoid travel to Lebanon and called on those in the country to leave immediately.

Kuwait's embassy in Beirut said its warning came "in the midst of security uncertainty and consequent harassment", adding that a Kuwaiti diplomat had been stopped at a checkpoint "outside the framework of the state".

The statement, reported by the state news agency late on Friday, said that Kuwait had organised a plane for any citizen wishing to leave Lebanon that evening.

Separately, the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Asiri, filed a diplomatic complaint with the Lebanese government after several of its nationals were stopped by Hizbollah in a diplomatic car and held in "degrading conditions", the London-based Saudi-owned newspaper Asharq Al Awsat reported yesterday.

The incident happened in Beirut's southern suburbs, a stronghold of the Shiite group, the report said.

Although all six Gulf Cooperation Council states have issued previous travel warnings to Lebanon, the new incidents highlight growing regional tensions over the conflict in Syria, as the United States contemplates military action against President Bashar Al Assad over his alleged use of chemical weapons.

GCC members have been among the strongest regional supporters of the opposition to Mr Al Assad's regime, and last week, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait helped sponsor an Arab League resolution blaming the Syrian government for the chemical weapons attack on August 21.

Lebanon is often considered the most fragile of Syria's neighbours and most likely to be consumed by the spillover its two-and-a-half year civil war.

Hizbollah has sent fighters to Syria to join Mr Al Assad's soldiers.

Two recent bomb blasts have also been linked to regional tensions. On Friday, Lebanon charged five men, including a Syrian intelligence operative and a cleric with ties to the Syrian regime, for bomb attacks in Tripoli that left 47 dead.

The GCC travel warnings were echoed by Britain and France, who also said their citizens should leave Lebanon.

A senior security source in Lebanon told Reuters that 14,000 people had left the country on Thursday alone, mostly Europeans.

Syrian Captain Told: Fire Chemicals or be Shot - Middle East - News - Israel National News

The messages were picked up by British officers. Anonymous Royal Air force (RAF) and Ministry of Defense sources who spoke to the Express said the messages were initially treated “with caution” due to fears they could have been planted by rebels.

The intercepted radio messages begin with a regional commander demanding that the captain of a Syrian Army artillery battery fire chemical shells.

When the officer protests, he is told “in direct terms” that if he does not fire the weapons, he will be killed.

Chemical weapons were fired just minutes later. American leaders say that at least 1,429 civilians were killed in the attack, among them 400 children.

Mods please edit title to US MAY LAUNCH MILITARY STRIKES IN SYRIA

The news coming in here in India is that US Congress is in strong support of Strikes on Asad.
Bush had spent his two tenures in search of elusive Chemical and Biological weapons in Iraq and found none. Now that there is a strong evidence of use of Serene Gas, it is only logical for a US military strike.
Secondly even though not many nations support the military option, given the circumstances, i don't think many are going to condemn it as and when it happens.

The majority are indeed against it. Rand Paul and the libertarians will capitalize on this to gain widespread support.

The people believe that this is the same as Iraq and they blame the government for spending so much on what they consider not to be a threat to America's security while not uplifting their own living conditions.

but it doesnt really matter what the people want or wish there or in any Asian Country....just like Pakistan, its people are never considered while making any policy or move by the Government....

What abt rebels? US is supporting them also ......... aren't they responsible for chemical attack?

Double Standards!!!

Cant get much detailed than this. Credible enough?

That would be the official exchange rate. What is the black market exchange rate of dollar vs rupee?

I am not involved in money laundering.. :D I do not know. But doesn't really matter also.

Black money rate will always be higher then the other even if Indian economy is growing 15% per annum.

Under Obama, America will side with Al Queda. And Syria is just a proof.

Well by the same kind of twisted logic one can argue China supports the Mumbai terror attacks, since it has a conflict with India.
Some of the Rebels are Al Quida, not even most of them. Apposing Assad (only by rhetoric so far too) is a far cry from supporting every one of his enemies.

Obama supported Muslim brotherhood and Morsi until the Mossad overthrown the Muslim Brotherhood government. And Mossad had to out maneuver Obama stooges.

LOL what?
Right, the Mossad sent it's 17 million agents in Egypt to the streets to demonstrate against Morsi.
Your comment is an insult to millions of Egyptians. Weather you think the coupe was justified or not you cannot ignore the legitimacy of the mass demonstrations. The problems surfacing then were real ones.

And how is that even relevant to my post you quoted?
