Are we foreigners? why?
I am so happy to see such great Pakistani arms. If Pakistan is strong then we are strong and if its weak then we are weak as well. We are not here to brag or compare but you shouldn't underestimate us. I can't wait to see Pakistani 5th gen fighter! GOD BLESS PAKISTAN.:pakistan:

No you're not and we in Pakistan are extremely proud of your achievements too. If you come across any Pakistani who thinks or says otherwise or talks about Arabs in a condescending way - Ignore them in real life, report them on PDF but remember that they are not representative of the rest of us out there. Every Muslim state in the World, except Afghanistan and perhaps even them too, enjoys a special place in the hearts of Pakistanis and we look to your highs with pride and your lows with deep concern.

I appreciate your comment. I am disappointed at the lack of Muslim alliances, that's what I am thinking of NATO similar styles. No, you are not foreigner.

The comment I made is Armstrong try to rescue foreigners and brag about us, some of Pakistani like me speak the truth but Armstrong interfere to protect the foreigners. "Doc, can you perform a vasectomy on Pakistani so that we nip this in the bud ?".....What is this?

I will leave this thread, keep it up for Jordan Military machines-- more pictures please......

Why not all as Equals. better yet one country where its president would be from anywhere. Why must there be a certain ruler??

Yes, I understand. The real problem is Arab leader might attack other shia-dominated countries or some countries Arab disliked the most. It will be out of control, everything will turn ugly.

Most countries doesn't have problem relations with one Pakistan ruler. You see, European countries have been fought for many thousand years, US is the leader to prevent them and get them along in NATO alliances. Why not Pakistan role model? That's valid question.

Lack of allies? I don't think so. Most Arab countries have the best relations with Pakistan than any other country in S/E Asia. We look at you as an older brother thats why I also disappointed with Pakistan, because it should play a bigger rule in ME.

Pakistan Exporting UAVs to America

By Noah Shachtman

America's killer drones are getting all the attention, in the fight against Pakistani militants. But Pakistan's military has plenty of unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs, too. And they're being used to spy on suspected insurgents, and listen in on their phone calls.

Since 2002, Pakistan has dramatically expanded its robotic fleet in the sky, Defense News reports. The Pakistani Air Force has two UAV squadrons -- and is looking to build up to six.

"Al-Qaida and Taliban fighters use not just mobile and satellite phones for communication, but also sophisticated military radios," Defense News notes. So companies like East West Infiniti are building SIGINT [signals intelligence] for small drones and robotic blimps, to capture those conversations. Designed for militaries unable to afford high-end, dedicated SIGINT platforms, East West's Whisper Watch system can detect and monitor electronic emissions up to 250 kilometers away and then retransmit to a ground station located out of harms way.

Karachi-based Integrated Dynamics actually exports its Border Eagle surveillance drone to the United States for border patrol duties. The company also makes drones the turbojet-powered Tornado decoy, which can fly up to 200 kilometers, and emit false radar signals to "confuse enemy air defenses into thinking they are attacking aircraft," Defense News says.

Note: Pakistani UAV gear were on display in November, at IDEAS, Pakistan's big military trade show.

Pakistan Jointly produces Falco UAV with Italy

Pakistan starts drone Production - Falco UAV.flv - YouTube

Pakistan began producing components of the UAV "Falco"

26.08.2009 comments:

MOSCOW, August 25. (ARMS-TASS). Company "Pakistan aeronotikal Complex (PAC) today announced the beginning of production in the country components of the UAV" Falco "the Italian company SELEX Galileo, which had been ordered by the Pakistani Air Force, reported Jane's Defense Weekly.

The project is to reduce the volume of imports of components from Italy, as well as the development of production and development of advanced unmanned systems by enterprises of the national defense industry.

As stated at the opening ceremony of the project director of DAS Air Marshal Farhat Hussain Khan, the use of UAVs "Falco" dramatically expand the country's air force.

According to available information, currently Pakistan Air Force signed a contract to supply five sets of UAV "Falco". Each includes four unmanned vehicles, ground control station, ground data processing device, a set of spare parts, support equipment.

"Falco" used in two basic modes. The first provides for surveillance of the strategically important areas and convoy escorts. In the second mode, the UAV is used to identify groups of militants and the transfer of their location via a ground station command to ensure the defeat of Air Force strike aircraft and helicopters. When approaching drone aircraft climbs at high altitude and loitering until the attack. The apparatus is then reduced again to assess the degree of destruction.

UAVs "Falco" in the standard version is equipped with an autonomous navigation system and is able to conduct surveillance and intelligence gathering, transferring the received data in real time to a ground command center, located at a distance of 200 km, with the help of noise-stable communication system.

According to western experts, the next step in enhancing the combat capability of the Air Force will purchase shock unmanned vehicles to support combat operations, or jointly developed with SELEX Galileo armed version of the "Falco".

Pakistan has already directed the administration's request for the supply shock unmanned vehicles. The Pakistani leadership for a long time convincing command of the U.S. Armed Forces to cease the use of a drone attack to destroy targets on Pakistani territory in the border regions of Afghanistan, often because of the errors of U.S. operators are killed by shelling civilians. Get your own weapons systems would ease the tension and improve the fight against militants.

The beginning of the project "Falco" precedes planned for the end of the year rollout of the first collected in Pakistan JF-17 fighter aircraft, jointly developed by the PAC and the Chinese aircraft group "Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group." Air Force plans to acquire at least 250 aircraft JF-17, which will form the basis of the park fighter aircraft of the country.
