You are right, our "free press" is better in manipulation, has a bigger budget and much better technology than the old GDR could ever dream of.

You know, growing up not far from the former GDR, we were able to receive East German TV. We used to laugh at the clumsy propaganda they aired, such as "Der schwarze Kanal" (the Black Chanel). Now, whenever I turn on the TV, I have the feeling that our media have become even worse and it's not only my opinon. Ask any well informed German age over 35 and you will get the same answer. It does not matter what chanel you turn on, they ALL spew the same agenda.

The insinuation here is that since American weapons were involved, American must be involved somehow. By the same reasoning, since the Chinese made AK-47 is the weapon of choice for armies and terrorists everywhere since the Cold War, and even made it on a flag of a country (Mozambique), China must be involved somehow.
