India practically championed the NAM and still is skilled at balancing powers. We even tried making friends out of you, but clearly you were intersted in hegemony rather than being friends.

It is becoming more apparent everyday that they don't want friends, they want allies (read slaves) who toes their every line, right or wrong. Obviously very few self respecting nation will fall for such one sided relationship. Money and goodies cannot buy self respect (most of the time).
