INS Black panthers = currently 24 fighters on vikramditya permannt
INS White Tigers = normally at Slur air base on land has reserves x 21 planes

it appears around 18-21 MIG29K have been deployed from White Tigers naval aor base

too boost air power in North

We are using resources effivciently

At present we have 45 MIG29 K

Only 24 mig29k are on Vikramditya carrier at one time

We keep over 20 on land as rotation and reserves = excellent idea in face of service issues of MIGS

These 20+ have deployed to Ladakh for several reasons

1, boost numbers
2. improve pilot experience in war like situation
3.compliment the massive air amarda amassed against china of SU30MKI MIRAGE2000 mig29upg JAGS APACHES CHINOOKS & C17 globemasters
4.check thre perfrmance of the mig29k in high altitude air patroling

ITS A GREAT MOVE BY INDIAN MILITARY

utter desperation, as if the IAF was not enough that naval jets are being sent, i hope this sabre rattling remains within the limits of LAC, because even a slight miscalculation will cost dearly to the region.

Definitely can provide more effective loadouts compared to the spartan capabilities they have when launching from the carrier.

One would have thought that the IAF and IN would pool pilot resources so to reduce costs on logistics and training for the Fulcrum fleet.

If you have 21 carrier based aircraft which can't be used on any carriers, then you are clearly not using resources effectively.

Based on old Soviet/Russian koltin class destroyers of 60s era, in front of Type-55 which has a same dimensions and firepower of US latest Zumwalt class this ship is nothing

you laugh BUT our carriers are nearly ready too

And you carrier is easy targets for Chinese supersonic/subsonic (long range 500+ km) YJ-12/YJ-18, from saturation attack
