MIG 21 crash!

Fast way to avoid cost of phasing out MiG-21. Thank god pilot is safe.

To all friends who wonder why Indian MiG-21s crash and other countries' don't, well, its coz Indian MiG-21s are much older. Some were acquired in the 70s and 80s.

High time we phase them out. If more pilots die, soon we won't have anyone to fly the 126 MRCA's.

Just thought of a way to defeat enemy air forces....donate them our MiG-21s!

I'm extremely happy that pilot is safe and Mig-21 number is phasing out by itself...
If there is a bit of delay in phasing out these mig21s and confirmation of MMRCA deal why not ask Pakistan for help.I mean we maintained our version of MIGS very well; and that will also show that India have not aggressive designs against Pakistan......good relations.

Read the post of su-47 above and you will understand the difference, if I'm not wrong PAF got its last J7 only some years ago right?

I think it is not the fault of the plane and the pilot, this plane has been used for so long time, more than the life of the aircraft, this plane should be updated to extend the service time

.
And the award for maximum crashes goes to..................

INDIA..

How f**kin' sad, I will commit sucide if Mig is selected again.

Think b4 u post. There is no prob with the MIG's its the good old air craft and its our babus to be blamed. If these aircrafts have been shelved in the right time and new aircrafts inducted we wouldnt be seeing this.

I do not remember but I think Mig-35 has also crashed. Correct me if I am wrong.

.
one thing good is that these frequent crashes forces IAF/Indian bureaucracy to adopt more advanced tech.,training and maintenance system..which is indeed good 4 india..and mig21 expiry date already passed
