Microsoft celebrates IE6 death as Google downranks Chrome

.
Ask any web developer about the swear words he would have used while writing separate JS and CSS code to keep IE happy while FF rendered his creation flawlessly. Good Riddance!!!!

I have been using Chrome since past couple of years and was always in love with this browser. But since past couple of months or so, Chrome has been crashing more often than any other browsers I have used in a while.

Chrome is good, its fast, reliable and well designed but at the same time, its crashing situation is giving me headache. I have used Chrome on different machines and it keep crashing everywhere.

I still use Chrome though... but I honestly believe Firefox, Opera or Safari are better if you are doing some important work as you don't have to worry much about crash issues.

...And a cache over 1 GiB in less than a week.

No thanks. :)

Wow, and here i was complaining how chrome could do with a cache
And the little it does have is a real blessing, saved my life many times.

My friend had the same problem, and the same excuse that he'd tried it on many platform.
WHAT ARE YOU, AN ALIEN?
For me chrome hasnt crashed in a million years (unless i do something stupid enough that deserves crashing)

Microsoft if evil. Don't use it.

I hope Google makes its own OS. I'll jump right in.

Google Zindabad!

Google has an OS, it is called crome OS, installed in Chromebooks.
My transition has been IE - Firefox - Chrome.
I love the way in which you can search anything on address bar, once you use it, you will forget Firefox.

I am using Chrome since its birth and rarely had a complaint about it. My routine of opening web pages is almost same everyday and there is hardly any new website i open everyday.

Still it crashes.... and the worst part is... it does not give me an opportunity to save my work.... just crash and you are effed up.

One of the page is completely on Flash but its not that the flash program alone crashes.... it just gives an error and you have no option but to close chrome in order to reopen it

^ If i am not wrong Chrome can restore all web pages if it get crashed or shut down accidentally

Yes the websites are usually restored but not the text written in reply box or other fields

PS: I prefer to use private browsing to avoid long list of history being recorded in my browser. I usually open all of my favourite websites for once in normal browsing, bookmark them and then use private browsing forever. That helps me browse websites more quickly and hassle free

I am using Iceweasel(=firefox) and Chrome. both are good.

not that bad? windows 7 works nice.

Google swears by Linux..be it Android or their internal OS's? chrome os as well.

I am using Windows 8 these days and trust me Internet Explorer in Windows 8 is awesome.

Unfortunately I am in love with Google Chrome so I am using Chrome in this operating system as well... but if for some reason I had to use Internet Explorer... so far I have had no complaints with IE in this OS

Can these web browsers record our personal information when we do online banking or other privacy related things?

I am using Dolphin bowser in android which i found better than internet explorer and Opera. I just worry about privacy and protection of sensitive personal information
