Looks like days are numbered for the "Last Afgan's" last head to be chopped off thanks to this chopper!!! Hence, after failing to be "hard like a rock" continuing with all the "sissie" acts - FATF, tweets, paid ads on busses, shaming, not talking etc.....

True, such expandable assets can be discarded any time and no one is ever blamed.

Our Mi35 has slightly different cockpit configuration compared to one shown in link. All I can tell it has three MFDs instead of two. (Got pic but not allowed to share).

While unloading or loading who is going to do the cover up? The concept of combining both gunship and transport is not very well received by most of other countries beside Russia. First you make an oversize helo which becomes a big target and lack much agility and limit the area it can goes in since its so big.

It will be better stick to dedicated gunship and transport. It just like trying to make an AWACS double role as a refuel-er which is not an good idea.

Yep Pakistani MI35 defected from Afghanistan and served some time under Pakistani armed forces but due to lack of spares and service grounded very soon.

They are the same essentially, with some exceptions. That big IR Jammer sits tight behind the main rotor, some comm antennae, and the paintjob is off course different. The airframe is literally the same as M variant with better finish.

Quwa is right, this baby is Mi-35M with some customer asked enhancements.
