Mexico and Pakistan Paying with Blood for Being US Allies

Mr. Haq should be asked- what did he pay to land up and be nestled in the bosom's of amerika. Some say america is paying with blood - for its laxed immigration policy ...

I agree, too many of your kind have been let in to suck blood out of our country.

You seem defend for your master at any corners if possible!

That's why they declare you as their no.1 puppet and just build a new base on your soil because of that!? :azn:

congratulations!

I've though that Mexico and Australia are states of USA but I wasn't too wrong!

Jeez one small base and so much butt hurt:lol:?

i know the point your trying to make, but the american constitution allows for it, everyone has a right to bear arms. im sure even in your country a lot of people have guns, and i bet it is even less regulated then guns in america, but maybe same as mexico.

however the difference is, pakistan is an ally with the usa in the war on terror. Allies do not sell weapons or explosive material to the people you are fighting against!. They, even in america, would not allow their companies to sell equiptment or material to those they or their allies are fighting.

There's several orders of magnitude difference between gun deaths in Mexico (running in tens of thousands) and IED deaths in Afghanistan (running in hundreds). Look at the following charts to get a sense of it and decide where the bigger problem is and who shares greater responsibility and culpability for loss of innocent lives in their neighborhood. US or Pakistan?

Out of the hundreds of countries that are US allies or have good relations with them..why Mexico & Pakistan seems to have the problem. Even countries that were at the receiving end of American military might namely Germany & Japan have no qualms going against US policies, then what is that stopping Pakistan or Mexico.

This is a very misinformed commentary.

You are forgetting about the US Afghan and Iraqi allies who have been subjected to much greater horrors, as have Germany and Japan in the past.

And the US alliance with countries like India is too new to have been tested yet....wait till you have a problem with US and then see how you fare after that.

Starfor's George Friedman argues on page 28 of his book "The Next 100 Years" that "psychologically, the United States is a bizarre mixture of overconfidence and insecurity". This, he says, "is exactly the American condition in the twenty-first century. The world's leading power is having an extended adolescent identity crisis, complete with incredible new strength and irrational mood swings".

There are three stages of development of cultures: Barbarism, civilization and decadence, according to Friedman. He puts the United States currently in the barbaric stage. He says that "America, like Europe in sixteenth century, is still barbaric (a description, not a moral judgment). Its culture is unformed. Its will is powerful. Its emotions drive it in different and contradictory directions".

Pakistan always had an opportunity to refuse the US friendship . but chose to do otherwise.

in the 50s it was Pakistan who actively went to the US and asked to be an ally . with the sole purposes to counter India . they felt they could use their friendship to their own advantage . the rest as they say is history .

while we have relations with the US we do not allow them to take advantage of it . the GOP on the other hand does. so who is to blame? if any one blame your own shortsightedness and myopic foreign policies.

mate you talk about having problems with the US . have you forgotten they were against us during the cold war? or the sanctions put against us after 74 and again after 99 ? but the question arises , did we let relations deteriorate to the extent ,they have at the moment with Pakistan and the US . NO .thats the difference . either you sit down and work things out , however long it takes . or you indulge in chest thumping and rhetoric and self pity (of which i see a lot here) .

why are people so intent to play the martyr card? you keep talking about betrayal and how they deceived you . but was it not apparent all these years? did it not register when they enacted the pressler agreement against you? if any thing its your own bureaucrats who have let you down , your own people . , "stop trying to find a spot in others eyes , when you cant see the log in your own."

Germany (a country with US bases) & France(which got massive aid during WW2) were highly critical of the US decision to invade Iraq. You are upset that US didn't give a damn after 24 PA soldiers were killed, but in Japan (again a country with US bases) US marine(s) were prosecuted for raping and killing Japanese women. It all depends on how you leverage yourself in front of US.

Pakistanis always talk about US relation with India through a prism of master-slave relationship using terms like 'Your master....' frequently. I think Pakistanis cannot get the point that relationship with US can be on equal terms and not a Master-Slave relationship.

And the US alliance with countries like India is too new to have been tested yet....wait till you have a problem with US and then see how you fare after that.
Sorry, India is not Pakistan. We signed Nuke Deal with US, but at the same time rejected US fighter jets for our AF. There are many issues on which India & US does not meet eye to eye, but Indo-US relationship is flourishing.

Pakistanis conveniently forget the fact that they are the one who brought US to South Asia in the first place.

I think your comments show your naivete....a total lack of understanding of what is involved in dealing with the sole superpower of the wold.

You also forget the fact that India has received far more US aid since independence than Pakistan.....in fact, Indians would have not survived without the US funded Green Revolution in 1960s....why did US help India? Because the US sees India as just a card to play against China....no more, no less.

And recently, India went begging to the US to seek NSG approval under US-India nuke deal....and US helped to boost India as a card against China.

Just wait and see when the bills comes due, and we'll see how India does. The first sign of things to come is India's backing out of the Iran pipeline under intense US pressure.

Friedman also said that China would collapse and that Poland, Turkey and Mexico would become superpowers.

Friedman seems to love being wrong over and over again.

I think the U S passed barbarity and civilization long ago. I'd call killing the Native americans with biological weapons pretty barbaric. I also think slavery is pretty damn barbaric. Also the triangle shirtwaist factory fire, where 100 young women were burned to death because greedy factory bosses didn't want them getting off work early is pretty barbaric too. Using the US army to suppress a protest by veterans that wanted their pay is also barbaric.

The U S also had great civilization in the 50's to 70's when it accomplished its moon landings and space exploration missions. The US also gave civil rights to blacks then.

Now, the U S is in the decadence stage, and quickly moving towards collapse.

Where did he even mention the term "aid" in his post? .

If not US , the Soviets

....why did US help India? Because the US sees India as just a card to play against China....no more, no less.

They feared spread of Communism over South Asia.

And recently, India went begging to the US to seek NSG approval under US-India nuke deal....and US helped to boost India as a card against China.
Lucky for us ain't it, begging gets us stuff we seek , unlike for some , who despite all their suave and globally high standing , don't make any progress

Why sell uranium to only India, Pakistan asks Australia

Just wait and see when the bills comes due, and we'll see how India does.
You can wait ,while we more important things to do , like addressing our problems.............

The first sign of things to come is India's backing out of the Iran pipeline under intense US pressure.

You seriously think India will have a gas supply pipeline from an unstable province? , won't be long before even Chinese will have second thoughts about their engineers in Baluchistan province.

then by your definition we should have been in a worse place!! but we are not . you my dear friend can come up with all the conjectures , all the quotes you like , the end result is still the same .
you have only your self to blame for mismanaging a relationship.
