considering the fact that russias rocket industry is on the floor this capacity is doubtful. The recent chain of fatal rocket failures in russia is a sign for a massive downfall. The lost of the phobos-grunt mission was best example for that.

Russia needs money from Europe more than Europe needs oil and gas. Russia is energy market. It will hurt them more.

Its a two way street. As in 2007, when the Russians switched off the tap. I would refrain from an extreme position like Europe needs oil and gas less and Russian needs money more. Any attempt will have catclysmic effects on energy prices if Russian oil stops.

EU and Turkey had a hard time in last two years. I think that russian agression can fix alot of dispute between our nations. We both know that the Tartars in Crimean will be treated like dirt. To be honest i don´t like how Erdogan handeles this conflict. You hear nothing from him. Maybe he is too busy with his corruption scandals. But i think Turkey should play a bigegr role now.

I'm sure Azerbaijan and Turkey have more than capable army to punch through Caucasus and push Ruskies back to Volga river. Turks have better land army and better navy at the black sea.

The questions to ask my friend are as follows:

1. Can any country going through a recovery afford an upward revision of prices? The answer is no.
2. Can any of the oil producing countries afford a downward revision of prices? The answer is no.
3. Can Russia be sanctioned like Iran or Libya? The answer is no.

Think about the Russians like woodcutters. In winter, you need the wood. If the wood stops, it has a domino effect on downstream industries. Across the EU. This will result in drop in production and rise in energy prices. The only thing which can be done, is accept that Crimea is gone and Russia played its cards right and NATO has to make some noise. That is whats going on. In a month's time Ukraine will make statements, NATO will make its next military exercise and the world will be what it is today.

I think Russians felt free and got hold of Crimean region. Now its NATO's turn to feel free

Ha, get out of here Russia doesn't have military quality and quantity to have global reach. Russia is defenseless. There are NATO military basis all around Russia, only couple of hours away from Moscow.

although i have massive respect for NATO millitary but seriously, its not a good idea to mess with bear, even if US millitary is with you.......that will be a suicide......rather i will vote for chaining the bear economically
