What did you get in GRE? Was that new test with 5 sections?
315/340 in gre (q:166/170, v: 149/170). Test consists of 2 sets of quants and verbal subjs. and the last section can either be quants or verbal, which will be randomly selected by the test software... not sure if they take best 2 of the 3 sections marks or average of the 3 section marks to calculate the total for that particular subject.

3 lac per annum is not bad in India....it is standard...no? Most of my friends started with that....and they all studied in UK/USA

3 lac is standard in India.. but this year, job market was good many in my batch got placed in good companies with hefty packages... 3l has been the standard pay for more than a decade, while prices of almost all commodities raised over time..companies haven't raised the amount in accordance with the rise in inflation.

In the revised GRE the sections are adaptive, if you did first section of quant Well, next whole section on quant will be tougher and for every question you do right in it the weightage per question will be more as compared to section1. The fifth section is experimental and is mostly used to gather response data and future question testing. By the way, congrates, good score.

does the iris work like a animal iris?? and is that eye filled with liquid??

it is sad that in south asia, medical treatment is mostly non-free and governments leave such things to concerned citizens and themselves spend on buying weapons.

you are in mid-20's, i am guessing... take it easy for a year or two.

@Spring Onion , saw you lurking in the thread earlier :D but you didn't participate.

Actually, treatment at all public funded health facilities is free in Pakistan.......however, the question is who would want to use it? Only the piss poor people..because like anything else, it is highly corrupt. No adequate machines, beds, wards, doctors or other staff. So we provide these. We check in people, get them diagnosed, once the correct treatment is available, we provide the funds for the chem or radio therapy. For example, a chemotherapy vial/injection costs 65,000 PKR if it is imported from India. It costs 1,25,000 PKR if imported from the brand name in the west. The problem is, in cancer no two people will have the same treatment. Those who are in stage 1, might need a chemo or radio dose every once a month. Those in stage 2 would need it every once a week. So you can see how quickly the cost adds up......and no way a common man in India or Pakistan can afford that. So we make that possible.
We get millions and millions in charity funds, yet we are always under-financed...there are more people needing expensive treatments than the funding is available. So we take over some of the responsibility which the government hospital should have been providing free of cost.

I routinely run into people who are not even citizens of Pakistan. We have Tajik and Afghan people, travelling all the way from their piss poor villages to Karachi and get treatment. Most of them can't even speak or understand Urdu...we need translators for them. Now, we are not supposed to give Tajiks/Afghans the treatment, because Pakistanis get priority.....but this is that business.....where you see a man dying in front of you or a 8 year old........you have to let go of the national non-sense and help someone as a human being.

Be very careful with what you post.

Right,
meanwhile keep asking senior/experienced Pakistanis proof of this and that.
Hmm.....
