LAHORE: The sensitive organization raided a University hostel and arrested a young foreigner Al-Qaida commander on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

Al-Qaida commander had landed in the city for leading a ‘Fidayee Mission’, who was provided shelter by the students of a religious party’s subsidiary organization, intelligence sources said.

Sources said that the accused having expertise in subversive activities earlier conducted in the tribal areas came to Lahore for leading some such deadly missions in the city, but before he could cause any damage he was arrested and shifted to some unknown place.

Sources further said that the University hostel management didn’t co-operate with law enforcing agency during the raid, while a student identifying himself an office bearer of the mighty student outfit tried to scare away the LEA men.

The foreign AQ operative should be grilled about his local network as well as this foreign backers, and then hung upside down.

I'm willing to bet the student organization sheltering him was the IJT linked to the Jamaat Islami.

The JI has been vocal supporters of Al Qaeda and its affliates such as TTP for years, and has been on the payroll of its Salafi masters in Saudi. Not surprisingly, the JI KPK leader, Siraj ul Haq is notorious for attending the funerals of slain TTP militants.

P.S. thread title should read Al Qaeda operative...would be more accurate.
