The shops burnt were mutton shops not beef ones. mutton is eaten by by almost everybody , there is no religious taboo to it ,any one who is a non vegetarian eats it.
The fring have come our but hopefully they are just a few.

It doesn't matter whether they were beef or mutton shops. Everyone already knows the history of the killings of Muslims accused of consuming slaughtered meat. With the new hardliner coming in this latest act of violence doesn't come as a surprise. The point is that denial won't do any good. The conflict between Hindus and Muslims is ancient. This is not the first time we are witnessing such violence. Like I said, this is a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. All we need is another Modi likeminded who can trigger the violence. We have the perfect candidate now. It is a matter of time before something really big happens. We can embrace ourselves for more oppressive measures are against cow slaughter. That much is confirmed.

The nationalist Hindus are becoming more emboldened and are demanding a total ban against cow slaughter. The question is whether Muslims are going to abide by blackmail and violence.

I have no problem with Hindus doing whatever they want in India afterall, India is a Hindu country or will be soon enough. That is up to them. What I have a problem with is Hindus coming here and denying patently obvious things which are ubiquitously available. It is their hypocrisy that grates me. They can ban Islam in India as far as I am concerned. How the Indian Muslims deal with this is anyone's guess, but if they do nothing they are history within a generation at this rate. We are just at the beginning of Hindutva. The launching point for Hindutva wasnt in the 1990's, it wasnt even when Modi was elected, it is starting now. There are institutional changes underway in India such as the govt being able to reject judges to the SC, these kinds of changes that are the springboard for a Nationwide Hindutva wave. Can the Muslims of India withstand this? I dont think so. The Indian Supreme Court just told Muslims where it stands on their issues.

Well, the only way out for Indian muslims soon would be to carve out their own country from current India, i guess.

FYI: UP is under Fanatic Law for Years now . 400 riots in last 5 years.UP's Minister Gangraped Mother & her team daughter.

Previous Government didn't do anything & on orders of Supreme Court FIR was filed. Minister was not arrested by Police until election results very announced.

Having said that I don't support burning of Meat Shops. It can be done by fringe elements in BJP or by people of outgoing Government.

One can hope that matter is investigated & guilty are taken to task.

Either that or like an Indian poster on this board suggested a couple of days back, they should all convert to Hinduism. That seems to be the sentiment of the more honest Hindus.
