Anti-Semitism is only really an issue in European/American societies and Middle Eastern societies.

Outside of those areas, few people bother to think about such things.

For example, Kaifeng Jews have been living in China for more than a thousand years without problems.

It used to be more of an European issue. Even though Anti-Semitism is synonymous to "racism against Jews", note that the word "Semitic" in a broader sense refers to middle eastern people and I'd guess the term Anti-Semitism had its origins in European racial hatred towards the original Arab-looking Jewish immigrants in Medieval Europe.

Middle Eastern societies in general were more tolerant towards Jews. In fact, before Jewish occupation of Palestine, Muslims always held the "People of the Book" in high regard, but as with any minority community just about anywhere, Jews must have faced some discrimination in Muslim societies as well.

Anti semitism is more of an european issue as everybody else pointed out. I have no idea why it comes back at regular interval and what issues european have with jews.

There were 138 votes in favour of Palestine and against Israel. Rest abstained.

India was actually among the 138 Nations who voted in favour of a Palestinian State. India supports Israel's right to exist and Palestine's right to autonomy.

We supported and continue to support Palestinian demand for becoming a full and proper Nation State.

How does Indian support for Israel mean that we dont support Palestine?
Israel as a nation is supported by India, does not mean every action of Israel is. Pakistani's need to understand the difference between supporting and cheerleading.
