McDonald's and Starbucks have yesterday announced that they will be donating all profits from now until Sunday to Israeli war. Also, the producers of Adam Sandler's new movie Bed Time Stories will be donating their profits to THE Zionist entity of Israel."
It is difficult to verify these specific claims. Both companies are predictably saying they are victims of Internet and SMS rumours. However, it is another example of the wide-spread anger felt by the general public at the atrocities carried out by Israel and increasing awareness of how the US supports it.

McDonald's is on the Innovative Minds boycott list of companies that support Israel:

Boycott McDonald's and Starbucks. Here in US the meat they use in McDonald's is not halal (not zabiyya) so I never ate McDonald's here, I think in Pakistan its zabiyya halal meat thats used in McDonald's but still money goes to Israel...Pakistan should ban McDonald's and also Starbucks.

I havnt seen a Mcdonalds out there, but i have eaten KFC in mecca numerous times.

Beside so many hotels are being built in mecca and madina, names like Hilton, Serena, Intercontinental, movenpick.
