Sahabah were abused and disrespect in this Muharram Majalis, followed by the Nara-e-Haidary or whatever other Naray they have, if he was indeed asking for action followed by his death, than it is indeed something far more sinister than it seems .
Firstly, in Pakistan, both Shia and Sunnis (Barelvi/Sufi) chant "Ya Ali", so who is "they" here?
Secondly, No sane Pakistani Muslim regardless of what sect he/she is, would endorse public disrespecting of Sahaaba.
Thirdly, we already have laws (i.e., 298-A PPC) criminalising blasphemy against Sahaaba
So, please stop demonising an entire community based on actions/ill-doings of one or two individuals.
