Gates did go to university and wasn't a matric pass.
He scored 1590 out of 1600 on the Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT) and enrolled at Harvard College in the autumn of 1973
Gates is a genius. He got accepted into Harvard. Do you know what Harvard is? I don't think you do. People like me who have suffered the tension of marks for getting into better colleges and universities and not matric pass people know what 1590 out of 1600 marks really mean.
Logic has left the room. A Pakistani matric pass is compared to Bill Gates. I don't want to sound arrogant but say this with complete humbleness that this PTI minister would look like a fool in front of me, in front of my whole university class including the struggling students in my class.
This matric pass is an insult to the education ministry, an insult to every student that studies beyond matric, an insult to meritocracy and it is disgusting.
That's like a janitor is made head of a most prestigious medical institute or health ministry to make legislature. Because make no mistake, this dude is on one of the most prestigious institute in the province.
College is a unique experience. University is an honorable experience. I remember myself when i did my matric, i was a dumbo who didn't know anything. College opened my eyes. University opened my eyes. Getting a PhD is a unique experience. Getting bachelors is a unique experience.
This dude who doesn't know how students life is in college and university will make rules for them? This fool who doesn't know how gpa and cgpa is calculated will make rules.
My God, am i offended. No wonder Pakistan has gone downhill since honest and merit based people took over. Dishonest and nepotistic people didn't do this insult to Pakistan like the honest people are doing.
I feel sorry for the kids who destroy their brains from stress of studies, they should work instead to make relations with ruling party and pleasing the right people to get jobs.
I would go even so far as to say this is Unislamic. Islam believes in meritocracy. This dude stole the position from a talented PhD scholar and researcher who has gone through experience of college and university to understand our problems and troubles.
Disgusting. Pathetic. What a fall from Atif Khan to this nepotistic fool. This isn't why we voted for PTI.
