Massive Foreign Aid to India Continues

So why is all the free food aid from foreign donors acceptable to you? Would you rather starve your people to death than give them emergency food aid? How callous!

Where the heck did India accepting food aid mister??

Millions, billions or trillions that doesnt matter but the Bharat's show off in the past claiming Bharat never receive any aid has been dashed to ground

.
We have provided crores of rupees to pakistan at the time of partition, they have not returned it yet.

Indian govt. has provided huge sums of money as loan to Britain in the world war but the Britain has not paid his loan till date. Yes, it is a fact.

Not sure which money is referred to.

AFIK, the money given in 47-48 was their share of funds at partition.

Let me re-iterate for the many soft minds who still don't understand the basic fact here that soft loans are AID. It's not just true for India, it also applies to Pakistan or any other recipient of AID in the world. Most of what is called AID is in the form of soft loans, like the ones India gets, and only a small percentage of it is grants which India also receives.

For a long time, India has been considered a "bottomless pit for foreign aid", according to new book just released.

China considered India 'bottomless pit' for foreign aid

To those who are reading comprehension impaired here, let me try one more time to bring attention to a specific para in recent BBC report about $500 million aid India received last year from Britain:

Last year Britain gave almost £300m (US$500m) to India in development aid. But India plans to spend more than US$1bn on its space programme next year.

Mr. Riaz Haq, what do you want to prove? India is not a developed country. We are entitled to developmental aid. Even China receives developmental aid. So, why complain against India?

Another trolling about the toilet issue ..as i said can you tell me is this AID is accepted by Indian government??you are keep dodging this question because you very well know the answer is no..its given to NGO organisations for welfare and charitable works..

First you re-iterate your soft mind about the difference between a AID and softloan..then come and preach us about it ..

Mr Riaz Haq

And soft loans are loans with below-market rate of interest and they are not AID, which is voluntary transfer of resources from one country to others. Unlike AID, soft loans are provided by World Bank and other development institutions.
