Massacre of Muslim students in Burma

Rohingya's are being disowned by their parent country (if my understanding is right - they are Bangladeshi's) - who do you think will arm and support them?

Muslims of Meiktila are Rohingyas?

Rest of the content in your post were all BS.

If India interferes then our neighbors will start shouting "Indian bullying". Rather we shut up and condemn the violence or genocide without falling into a Sri Lankan type situation again. One PM lost for another country's crap is enough I guess

This is too messed up for India to intervene.

I guess it has to do with China and India competing for the influence with Burmese regime. Neither country would want the other to gain the ground on the others expenses.

I was serious - what can be done? - I see total negligence from the Ummah and the other Muslims? as for the ethnicity - I have no friggin idea - I thought the Muslims in Burma are Rohingya's.

and, why don't the Jamaati's of Bangladesh do something about the atrocities against their brethren in Burma?

yes just like West bengalis disowned by parent country (Bangladesh)

OK - so Rohingya's are not native Bangladeshi's - is what you say?

Leave the ethnicity aside - what I want to know is what can the Muslims do to stop this genocide?

yes, Rohingyas are living there for centuries, just religious card played by burma, if you check behind the violation, the Buddhist monks are involved.

How about do some research instead of jumping the gun on every issue?

The Muslims in that part of the country are Panthays. Chinese-origin Muslims:
Panthays - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And there is no such thing as the "Ummah" these days. It is now only a theory.

But that would unleash the "Big Bad Muslim" spreading fear and terror everywhere as anyone would assume

Besides, Jamaat-Islami Bangladesh is nothing more than a shadow of the Cold War.

Nope. Last time India interfered in a Buddhist country and we got a PM whacked off :D As I stated earlier, no need for Indian soldiers to die and be condemned as bullies in death. If anything it is for the UNO to act. Indian soldiers must go in under a UNO banner if needs be. The world needs to stand up and start demanding action from the UNO. I hate reading these threads about kids being tortured in the land of their birth. I hate reading about people being hacked to death just because they pray in a different manner. Burmese government must be told by the world that if they fail to act then they will be held responsible for this carnage

Really looking forward to unleashing the "Big Bad Muslim" huh?

I am not too keen in researching about ethnicities of Burmese Muslims (too much on my plate already), and I have no intention to replying to nit picking too.

This looks like systematic genocide - what's the solution to stop the killings?

this is pathetic..ethnic cleansing is taking place in burma.. or should i say religious..

It was pretty ridiculous to even mention Jamatis and Razaakars in the first place. They have nothing to do with the problems in Myanmar. And never will be.

No idea really

Let ASEAN, the West and may be China take care of it. Bangladesh currently has enough problems of its own, and will continue to do so in the future.

And even if Bangladesh does something on the entire issue of Myanmar, it won't be effective. It is simply too weak to have any effect. And what's more, most Burmese are hostile toward Bangladesh for unknown reasons. Bangladesh is not a regional power, never will be and nor does it have any intentions to be so.

In fact, I won't give a damn if those Burman cavemen suppress and kill all Muslims in their country. If they fail to take any preventative measures other than just having visions of "economic miracles", the ball's in ASEAN's court.

The last thing this "Ummah" could use is to a have a new dog having his days.
