Yes, with out education /resources/infrastructure technical skills and all the basic needs , we can rely on Magic to build upon that rusted structure.
You'll keep telling them about the syllabus ,curriculum ,reforms etc and they will keep churning out tailor-made statements that can help them to use your generation as a tool, as much as they like.

Well , I think these promises by politicians are sweet candy pops nothing more reality is

a) Our schools suck , education material is out dated and old
b) The teachers are sub standard looking for tuition structure due to low salaries
c) Students have no interest in education (45-50%)
d) Politicians with fake degrees run the Government get loans and high salaries

Even so 3-5% of student body make it to high education institutes like University (Medical/ IT/Engineering), majority of that is possible due to private schooling and parents who spend their own time with kids or arrange for private teacher

When a country does not have a plan or structure to HIGH graduates top of line to Top jobs in country then does not matter how good students are makes no difference which is why majority of folks tend to migrate outwards

You can't all become telemarketers or Bank sales representative



Example: Japan

Person studies their arse off in high school so they can get into good universities / colleges
there is national "struggle" to make sure worthy kids reach to top , people go school 8 am to 9 30 pm (Public and private school)

What do students get in end, we are talking new graduates

a) Jobs in Sony
b) Jobs in power plants
c) Jobs in Nuclear plants
d) Jobs in Honda , Toyota , Nissan
e) Jobs in Banks sector
f) Jobs in Panasonic
g) Jobs in Microchip and Computing hardware
h) Jobs in chemical plants




What do students get after graduation in Pakistan ?
a) DHAKEEEEE
b) Statement , Sir your University degree is not legit we don't recognize that university
c) Sorry that role is for Chief minister's chacha
d) Sorry that high hiring place Railways , PIA , steeles mills are all BROKEN
e) Oh look at him , he is actually studying for exam , we got it all covered
f) Ocassional laptop for 0.01 % kids in Punjab specific sector
g) Sorry there is no transportation to get you to your job , unless you buy a scooter
the bus and train system in city is broken, because politician chachoo is attending his
son's birth day bash where a elephant show is organized. He shall decide if the money is
well spent on the transporation and train system or the elephant for show




Pakistan only had 1 Good generation the one that worked between

1947 to 1960's it was that time when Pakistan made good strides in nationalization and setting up some global organizations (Banks , Corporations etc )

That is nice...but first thing first:

Do students in Pakistan even know their worth?

Some would join family business...and some would get jobs due to links....

After viewing these 2 categories, MANY get discouraged...

Then we have those who go out and never come back coz they cant adjust to such a system and also coz some who went out cant adjust to the "new" corrupt system which is far advance than the older one!

The schools are terrible + the teacher training and all that does play a role...

But the thread here is more about YOUTH and their contribution....

You see you gave the example of Japan....In Japan while studying kids do part time jobs to pay ...In Pakistan it goes with the neighbourhood aunty's HAWWWWW job kerta si?

So responsibility, the need to progress, the eye for opportunities (things that are not taught in the classroom) are learnt much LATER in life....

What DO the youth give back instead of always asking is the real question?!

If they are frustrated, them realizing their power they really can intervene! BUT due to the lack of unity in Pakistanis, we lack the will power as well as ability to do ANYTHING to improve the never ending cycle!
