Archaeologists have discovered the Place where "Arc angle Gibrael "( Gabriel) Brought Allah's promise to the holy Virgin Marry ( Mariyum) ( may God be pleased with her ) that she would give birth to a wise son and a Prophet of Allah SWT the Great Prophet Esa ibn e mariym ( Jesus christ PBUH) who later testified his mother's piousness himself .

This is described in the Holy Quran in Sorah Mariyam ( chapter of Mary)

If someone can shed some light i would be very grateful .

How the archaeologists knew that this is the place.

This is described in the Holy Quran in Sorah Mariyam ( chapter of Marry)
Is that true that such description is there in Holy Quran.

.
How do they know this is the place?

Anyhow, there is a chapter in the Qur'an, entitled "Mary" - this refers to the Mother of Jesus, upon them be peace.

(Surah Maryam in Arabic) If you are truly interested, read it.

.
No source of picture, location, what is it that we are seeing, some back story...

Let me guess you got this in an email?

Israel Finds Remains of Jesus-Era Home in Nazareth

Israel's antiquities authority says archaeologists have uncovered the remains of a home in Nazareth that dates back more than 2,000 years -- to the time of Jesus.

Archaeologist Yardenna Alexandre said Monday the discovery is the first find of its kind and gives insight into the way of life at the time of Jesus.

Alexandre describes the home as "small and modest" and likely typical of ones in Nazareth when it was a small Jewish village. The dwelling consists of two rooms, a courtyard and a system for collecting water.

Jesus is believed to have spent most of his life in the town of Nazareth.

The remains were found near the Basilica of the Annunciation, which was built on the site where Christians believe an angel told the virgin Mary that she was going to give birth to Jesus.

Some information for this report was provided by AP, AFP and Reuters.

Surah Maryam, Chapter 19 Verse 16-35.

16. Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.

17. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them: then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.

18. She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah."

19. He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son."

20. She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"

21. He said: "So (it will be): thy Lord saith `That is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': it is a matter (so) decreed."

22. So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.

23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: she cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! Would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"

24. But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-free): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

25. "And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: it will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.

26. "So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man say `I have vowed a fast to (Allah) Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into no talk with any human being.' "

27. At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). they said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!

28. "O sister of Aaron! thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"

29. But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"

30. He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

31. "And He hath made me Blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

32. "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;

33. "So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.

35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it "Be", and it is.

Hope to Find Arabic-English Translation.

This is based on belief.

The report does not mention anything about the birth place of Jesus. what they have uncovered is some ruins that date back to Jesus era nazareth. I am skeptic about associating it with Jesus just because its uncovered near basilica of the annunciation as the location of nazareth itself is debatable among christian and judean traditions.

There is a lot more than that In the Holy Quran , all one needs is to read the Book :tup:

I had a friend in my hostel and he was a Muslim. He had Quran with him. Once i opened that book to read it and he said I needed to be cleansed to read that book. Lost interest never read it and touched it after that.

But that doesn't mean that i'm against Islam. I have lot of Muslim friends and we still drink and smoke together.

It is a standard proceedure for going to mosque , reading a holy book what do you do when you go for you dinner ?
wash your hands right? , it is all about how you do things , Doing " wadu" simply means that you get "prepared" from impurities .

I reckon it is not an offence at all , you go to the temple and ring a bell dont you;)

This is how it is. A " set of manners " to read Quran millions do that everyday.
It is a great book to read indeed it takes 2 minutes to wash your hands and face :tup:

The etiquette's which are prescribed for handling Quran for Muslims are not prescribed for non-Muslims.A Muslim is forbidden to enter the mosque in the state of uncleanness. But this condition does not apply on non-Muslims. Before commenting on such matters, please read and learn.
