I am sure my friend if you go through the thread you will understand the sheer frustration Pakistanis have for this lady. She basically represents everything that is and has went wrong with Politics in Pakistan. I will not go much into educational background or philosophical learning or ideology, since they are basically non existent in this case.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif is your study case how 3rd world countries remain 3rd world countries because of the hereditary politics. She sees Pakistan as part of her political inheritance from Mr. Nawaz Sharif and is willing to push the limits of power corridor to stay in the equation.
This is not something new and has been the fate of the region for the past 2000 years.
@Khafee my very dear friend.. what says you about the honourable lady in question? Your outside views might help shaping this current discourse of Pak Matters (on PDF that is).
In Simple English:Marriyum urges state institutions to stay within their constitutional limits

This "lady", and the word "honorable," are contradictory, to say the least. Then again, same goes for 99% of the politicians. Small innocent children, are loosing their lives to malnutrition, but I don't see any politician bat an eye lid. Yet they strut around with their Louis Vuitton bags, Gucci sunglasses, and running around with in flotillas of imported high end SUV's, reminding one of Marie Antoinette's shameless audacity! I pray and hope, they meet the same end as well.
I have said this on many occasions, the first thing required for any real reforms is the overhaul of the Judiciary and Law enforcement agencies, they should operate independently, and should be free from political interference. No one should be above the law.
Unfortunately, people use democracy, as a scapegoat to justify them being in power, and anything that exposes them is an attack in democracy, hence appropriately being labelled "Demo-crazy"
Very sad and unfortunate.
In Simple English:
WE are above the law, forget pointing a finger at us, don't you dare even look at us."
Who the **** is she to call on state institutions telling them what they should or should not do? Being a daughter of an ousted PM does not give her the right to tell them their limits.Marriyum urges state institutions to stay within their constitutional limits

if she is nothing we are you bothered ? chill out then.@El Sidd my dear friend,
Who is this Marriyum person apart from being the esteemed daughter of Mr. Sharif?
I mean educations, work experience... philosophical leanings... you know what is the complete profile of this noble lady?
Kindly, more details... not your trademark shorthand...please.
Thanks!
