Marriyum urges state institutions to stay within their constitutional limits

.
I am sure my friend if you go through the thread you will understand the sheer frustration Pakistanis have for this lady. She basically represents everything that is and has went wrong with Politics in Pakistan. I will not go much into educational background or philosophical learning or ideology, since they are basically non existent in this case.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif is your study case how 3rd world countries remain 3rd world countries because of the hereditary politics. She sees Pakistan as part of her political inheritance from Mr. Nawaz Sharif and is willing to push the limits of power corridor to stay in the equation.

This is not something new and has been the fate of the region for the past 2000 years.

My valued friend,

I percieve for what it is. Perhaps.

We, the bemused observers, have seen such things in your part of the world for long. And indeed, Pak is not unique to such 'inheritence'. Once it was an Afro-Asian thing but now it is gaining traction everywhere.

Regardless, what matters is the instruement which can either retard or preferably paralyse such entitlements. What could be such an edifice?

For some odd reasons Pak has always been in critical junction... now perhaps more so than ever before.

As you know rather well China would require a very stable, forward looking and organised Pak as partner for certain things to progress in Harmonious manner.

These politicos are more of hinderance than aid at current 'junction'. And yet Pak must continue with democracy. However, Pak Peoples need to find a way to have a better form of it with noble Pak Characteristics.

The current Pak Characteristics in governance and politics are rather ....

What is amazing is that despite a worldy exposure, primarily in the West, Pak elite and middle classes go local when they land back home. Why this paradox?

If you recall, I have said before, A Friend who knows you makes you!

If I am allowed the liberty then I would like to advance the Thought that Only Thing Pak, at this stage of socio-economic-technical-political achievement or lack thereof, needs is Economic Development.

If Economic Development and delivering results become national Obsession of Pak Peoples then all these politicos have no choice but to either sip juice in tropical paradises or deliver results.

With economic development social and techinical development will take its due course. As you know middle classes are notorious in their expectations and pretensions... let us call it Human Condition.

The esteemd lady in question might do well for the country and her own clan if she would 'sacrifice herself' by retiring from politics and start talking to little birds... or perhpas taking up gardening of some sort.

Reading requires application of structured thought...which I will not recommend to the kind soul, Ms. Sharif.

Time is Friend of none of us. Sad yet true.

Please, enjoy my esteem!

Regards,

Mangus

PS. On the subject of Love... I beg to differ with you... but we shall pursue this Eternal Mystery in another venue... should life and gods be kind to us!

@Khafee my very dear friend.. what says you about the honourable lady in question? Your outside views might help shaping this current discourse of Pak Matters (on PDF that is).

This "lady", and the word "honorable," are contradictory, to say the least. Then again, same goes for 99% of the politicians. Small innocent children, are loosing their lives to malnutrition, but I don't see any politician bat an eye lid. Yet they strut around with their Louis Vuitton bags, Gucci sunglasses, and running around with in flotillas of imported high end SUV's, reminding one of Marie Antoinette's shameless audacity! I pray and hope, they meet the same end as well.

I have said this on many occasions, the first thing required for any real reforms is the overhaul of the Judiciary and Law enforcement agencies, they should operate independently, and should be free from political interference. No one should be above the law.

Unfortunately, people use democracy, as a scapegoat to justify them being in power, and anything that exposes them is an attack in democracy, hence appropriately being labelled "Demo-crazy"

Very sad and unfortunate.

In Simple English:

WE are above the law, forget pointing a finger at us, don't you dare even look at us."

My very dear friend,

You have crystalised the sublimation into pure diamond!

I totally agree with you. It is all about the Law... applied equally to the High and Low.

Well then that is the heart of a Civilisation!

You keep doing the right things, my friend!

Take care,

Mangus
